Does this work on a 2009 650i?

I used this link on a 2009 XF Jaguar to bypass the Navigation unit in the system... well made link and arrived ahead of projected time... John, South Island NewZealand

Will this work on a 2008 BMW 536xi ?

As long as the system you are working on is fiber optic then yes. If a wired system then no it won’t.
