Strong, natural fibers, doesn’t fray much- and does respond well to having its ends burned (just not as permanent as synthetic). I use this to lace my leather products for my ren faire booth- so bracers, cinchers, etc- it’s got the perfect size (1/8 inch- think slightly thicker than a charging cable), doesn’t stretch, washes well, doesn’t get knots that are impossible to untie- but ties and holds well even with a simple square not. Easy, functional, and the spool lasts forever. This’ll absolutely be my main and repeat order.

Excellent tie line. Black synthetic core with braided, plain cotton exterior (see photo). Cotton is not waxed or polished - dull black finish. Am using as steering line for flown PA, and as tie line for rolling up and storing cables... General theater use. Because it has a synthetic core, the Ends can be held to a flame to prevent fraying - see photo where I rolled out the heated end between wet fingertips to make a nice non-frayed end for tieing up XLR cables
