Can this be used on an induction cooktop?

For the benefit of anyone else looking for an answer to this question, the pan is made of aluminum, not steel or iron, so it will NOT work on an induction cooktop (which heats via electromagnetic current), no matter how flat the bottom of the pan is.

What is the diameter of the pan at the base where it contacts the stove? (please also give the top diameter)

What are the exact dimensions of (1) the inner rim of the skillet, one side to the other, & (2) the outer rim of the skillet, one side to the other?

It is actually pretty hard to tell where the inner rim starts because the pan flares out. I would go with the 7-3/4". The outer rim is 8.5"

I purchased the Anolon Advanced Umber Collection crepe skillet. There are NO directions on how to cook with this skillet

I just rec'd mine with a cardboard enclosure that has info of 'dos and don'ts.' Mainly to use low to medium heat, and not to use spray oils bc of residue, use butter or oil. For crepes, it is suggested to oil a paper towel and use that to apply to surface of pan for a light coating. They say you can use metal utensils to flip, but not to cut directly into the pan, so that's common sense. To clean, obviously, don't use abrasive pads. The handle has silicone on it, it says it's safe up to 400 degrees in oven. I haven't used it yet but I will in a few days.
