If its Prime delivery, why will it arrive after Christma? 2 day delivery should be before xmas.

There is a worldwide shipping slowdown, and there is not a surplus yet created to ship immediately. You can order some of their baskets through catalogs, which may ship sooner. HF is set on a schedule of supply and demand and in 2000 closed all of its year round brick and mortar storefronts.

Can a gift basket be ordered now and sent later?

Unfortunately, no. Maybe if you called HF store itself, but as far as I'm aware it is shipped as available.
