Highly recommended by an entomologist! (updated dec 2023)
This pouch was perfect for my needs. I've recommended it to all my friends, and my only hesitancy around recommending it wholeheartedly is that it "only" lasts 5 months. But that's 5 months of pretty heavy daily use-- I received this pouch on July 23 2022 and one of its belt straps snapped today, December 15 2022. It's held up pretty well to a lot of bumps and being tugged around when I need it in a different spot on my belt, and I zip and unzip the compartments frequently to access items. In fact, just because one of the MOLLE straps snapped doesn't make the pouch unusable-- one strap remains, and the pouch comes with a carabiner and a loop on top, so I'm planning on rigging it to keep working. I'm ordering a new one, though, so that when this one does give up the ghost I'm ready. A lot of people use pouches like this to carry a weapon, so a lot of reviews that I read when I was deciding which one to purchase gave information on what compact/subcompact firearms can fit. This isn't super useful for those of us that don't carry, so I thought I'd give a list of what I fit in it! I carry a small insect collecting kit with me, and this pouch fits: - one fold-up hand net - three or four vials, depending if I'm using small (~1ml maybe) or larger (~5ml) vials - a multitool (Leatherman Wave) - my keys (car and house keys) - front pocket wallet - a flashlight (small) - field forceps - 2 pens: archival and ballpoint (pen pocket holds both of them snugly and they don't fall out) - small notebook (front pocket is the perfect size for one of those little top-spiral notebooks) - handheld GPS device (fits perfectly with the notebook in the front pocket) - some blank flash cards for field labeling - a flash drive On the inside of each of the 2 compartments, there is a smaller pocket against the wall of the pouch. This is very useful for things like a credit card/ID, or similar sized items, so they don't get lost. Price at purchase was $9.99 for the black pouch. Price as of this review is $9.70 for the black pouch. Around $6 for shipping if you're where I am and you get it shipped priority (I think that's the option I chose). $16 for 5 months of daily use and usefulness is pretty darn good, if you ask me! And again, it isn't useless yet :) I plan on wearing this thing out. Update September 1 2023: I'm reordering this :) each pouch lasts me just over 6 months, and for $10 plus shipping as of right this second, that's a good deal in my book! It is INDISPENSABLE to my daily life. I took out the multitool and the flashlight (they go in a holster on my belt now) and it weighs less, but even when it had all the weight in it, it held up really nicely. Cannot recommend it highly enough, go get yourself one! Or two :) update dec 18 2023: The MOLLE straps are a consistent point of failure, right around the 6-month mark. However, as I noted above, $10 for 6 months of heavy daily use is a price I am absolutely willing to pay. And honestly, if I wanted to, I could fix the strap. It just pulls out of where it's stitched at the top. Cannot recommend this thing enough. I think I've bought like 5 of them at this point. I'd give them as gifts to my loved ones if they wore belts and needed the storage.

Good quality bag
I bought a walkie talkie for my 6 year old grandson. He is not great about keeping all his toys together so I thought this would be perfect for his charging block, the charging cords, the compass wrist bands, and the walkie talkies. Looks like a great bag that was able to hold everything together. He loved the bag. Seems sturdy. Zippers worked great. Happy with this purchase.

Great little bag but takes getting use to.
I have been wearing this on my belt when I go out since Christmas 2019. I wanted to train myself not to sit on my wallet because years of doing that has given me sciatica and it flares up with little excuse. The belt pouch is fine as a way to carry my wallet and the zippers make for more security. Of course there is much more usable room as well that can be used for a pen, notepad, passport, ear buds, etc. I am just still adjusting to the bulk on my belt even when it is not 'loaded'. The biggest drawback is what it does to wearing any kind of pullover. Also, the zippers move in opposite directions on the two zippered pouches which takes getting used to. The location of belt loops on most pants tends to make the pouch interfere with access to front pockets. I have not gone through any kind of security check yet but I suspect it would have to be removed from the belt, emptied and then still hand checked as well. The belt loops snap which can be a handy feature. I have tried using the carabiner but the dangle bothered me. I wish there was some way to get the pouch to ride a bit higher. And I still find myself putting my wallet back in my hip pocket. It is going to take awhile.

Excellent pouch for hiking and has good space
I bought this for hiking and I plan to attach this to one of the straps of my backpack. It has good space and can fit a lot, including a charger an iPhone, a small notebook and even some snacks and some pen light or a flashlight. They do have a hook for a carabiner as well as a strap for a belt. The only thing I notice is because the strap is length it will. It works best with the belt, but I wanted to attach them to my strap. I have to hook it with a Carabiner. They do a lot with the car, but I managed to keep them in place using some Velcro straps. Even though the size is pretty big, they are larger than what I expected, but they work very well for the purpose. The zippers themselves looks sturdy and does not seem to easily rip. There are two small pouches inside the actual pockets in the pouch that seem to rip easily if you keep trying to shove objects larger in that area. But the pouch itself looks sturdy and excellent for hiking.

Poor stitching quality of belt loops to top seam of pack — break apart under sudden pulling
I was pretty satisfied with this pack before I used it under everyday conditions. Main issue is poor stitching quality where belt straps are sewn to the top of the pack (SEE PHOTO). I was seated on a bus, had the pack attached to my belt via the two vertical straps you slide your belt through. When someone sat down next to me on bus, the pack was extruding into that person's space a bit, so I grabbed the pack bottom with intent to pull it to slide along the belt path closer to me and out of other person's way. As I tugged, I would have expected that if tugged too hard, at worst I might cause a pants belt loop to be pulled off. But instead the tug caused the two pack straps to quickly tear right off of the top of the pack. When I got up to inspect the damage, you can see that the straps themselves are super-strong and were not at all the failure point. The failure was due to cheap stitching which appeared to my eye to be single stitching, not something more durable for something marketed as military style component pack. This meant that I could no longer use the pack as intended, threaded through my belt. Was frustrating to see that the design has two BOTTOM SNAPS, which provide flexible methods to route the straps through the molle webbing straps, but not at the top. My suggestion would be that if you need a more durably attached pack, whether you are traveling and keeping valuables in the pouches, or for more potentialy rugged usage, you should look for an alternative. Frustrating because I initially spent hours comparing about 8 similar products on Amazon, and most seemed to all be knockoffs of each other, and I made the final choice to this brand probably due to maybe $1 less than other brands. I cannot say if there are any other brands better constructed than this one, but I will be looking again, because the form factor was the thing that attracted me to this solution, instead of the "fanny pack" belt-pack I had been using previously. Though the pack is pretty much consistent with descriptions, I would also add that if by magic potion I could alter the design a bit, I would add 1-inch length to the overall pack dimensions because when you have a large phone in one pocket and a large spare battery in the front pocket, there is very little play remaining in the other pouch. I sometimes use 2 smartphones, one for phone use, the other as a higher quality camera, and when using both (one in each of the 2 larger pouches) the fit is very tight. Though compact is the goal overall in the design of this form factor, an extra half-inch to 1-inch extra in overall length would eliminate this tight squeeze, making it easier to retrieve money or keys placed inside one of the inside pockets.

Size does matter
For the price it's a great product. The size is perfect. Too perfect. My Note 8 will fit in one of the zipper pouches as long as I use this thin case or no case at all. Any case that is thicker than this will not fit. It will not fit in the front phone pocket with any case on. If you don't have a case it will fit but the material is a canvas type. The top backing of the clasp will be touching your phone. I did include pic.s to give you a better visual. That's too rough for my taste. There is VERY little give if any at all to the size of this pouch. It is not made to stretch. Anything you put in it takes up the limited space it offers. Over filling one pocket takes away from the other pockets. This pouch is designed for flat items. A leatherman. A phone. Maybe a SMALL flashlight. Over all I am happy with it because of the size. It serves it's purpose for what I need it for. Could they have made it with any elasticity. Yes! But there is none. This comes with ordering online. We can read and look at all the photos we want but unless we have it in our hands we really won't know what we are getting. Remeber there is no elasticity to this pouch so if you think you are going to stuff it making it fit. You are in for a disappointment.

Simply amazing design(slim/multi zipper with separate dividers/pencil holder)
Great product,I own a iPhone XR which is a decent size and fits perfect with a life proof case.I don’t recommend going bigger cause it’s a perfect size with that combo.the webbing for weaving is the best idea for this,a lot of military/outdoor/sport hunting use this system, the webbing goes down the entire pouch and you can custom the any size belt or for the molle attachment system it’s used for like vests, leg harness etc.very slim barely protrudes out and I love the double separate zipper compartment system and the single tube holder(pencil).I’m a construction worker and went threw a few phone holders such as dewalt and others, they worked but where bulky and only had 1 enclosed zipper compartment and never lasted 8 months. So far only had this for roughly 2 weeks but very satisfied due to slim/double zipper, and heavy duty straps(molle system).I always have my phone in 1 zipper, medical blue mask in the other zipper with my ear plugs in the tiny separater in the zipper compartment with the mask and a pencil in the outside loop. Check the measurements to see if fits your phone, and if it does don’t honk twice, truly happy

For the price this is OK
This is my second one as I really like the colour and the design was similar to others I used before. However, it is not as big as some and due to construction, if you put heavy things in it the joins may start to torn as it is not design for heavy stuff. If you are looking for heavy duties use this is not it.
