Will it freeze your insulin or only keep it cold for traveling?

it doesn't freeze your insulin, only keeps it cold. Note if you leave the organizer in your car on a hot summer day, say in the high 80's, don't leave the organizer in the car for more than a few hours. The ice pack melts. It doesn't ruin the ice pack you only have to refreeze the pack.

How long will it stay cold?

The little freezer pouch will stay cold ( in doors) for 8 hours usually but even then it is still cool for a while. The insulin pouch inside is removable Velcro so it’s easy to refrigerate without cooling your testing supplies. For me the pouch is a bit too big to carry and I only use insulin at bedtime so in all...it meets a great need for travel but not so much for everyday use.
