4-Step in-Pool Ladder Stair, Safety Entry System w/Handrails for Above Ground Swimming Pools

Great for our above ground pool, easy to get in and out of pool now. Didn’t realize needed sand to put inside steps to keep them from floating. Don’t remember reading that you did but I probably missed that part.

Needs something to hold it down sand bags didn’t work

Very easy assembly, but also very very cheaply made.. No matter what we did the steps would not stay put, we actually modified them with a thick cut piece of plastic and made a base that we could put the sand bags on.. I wouldn't recommend these steps, pay more, and get a different kind because these are awful!!!

Putting the sand in the ladder wasn’t too much of a challenge. There’s 1” holes in the top of each side panel to pour sand into. We just used a large transmission funnel from Walmart. Anything smaller would have taken forever. But even after adding 50 pounds of sand, (25 pounds each side), it still wants to float. It should have the sand bags also added under the unit to keep it down. It really does tend to want to float. I’m going to add two sand bags to the end where the lower steps are and that should do it. Also, the hand rails are NOT as sturdy as they should be for active and larger swimmers. You can’t just tug and pull around on them. They are hollow and will flex if you get rambunctious with them. Unstable elderly users may find the handrails a bit sketchy.

BUT the holes to put sand in ladder need to be bigger and they need to provide a funnel for the hole
