Perfect! Soft buttery sable. Just right for still life and portrait oils I will buy more wish you had long flats.

I am a beginner so I am not worth the $50 (and more) brushes that are out there (yet). That said, I was worried that buying lower-cost brushes could handicap my progress due to shoddy performance. These brushes are a delight to use and the results are quite pleasing. I'd buy these again for sure - and feel no need for higher quality at this time.

I purchased this set for oil painting and LOVE them! I was a little skeptical that they wouldn't be very good quality or even real sable at this price but they are definitely Not synthetic and have held up very well (no shedding). Compared to other sable brushes these are more dense and have a lot of spring. Others I have purchase don't have enough hairs to move oil paint well. I believe they would work well for watercolor & other mediums as well. I just wish this company offered a set of flats and brights.

One of the first tasks using new brushes I do is value studies specifically checking if the softness of the brushes can hold the brushes shape. These brushes really surprised me with their ability to spring back and still remain soft. Great product and the size selection was well founded.

Great filbert brush. There is it you use easy to clean and I haven’t fallen apart yet.

I like these brushes. I have bought several sets of these exact brushes and similarly priced sets from other makers. Of the economical brands, these are the best of a new type I call The Red Sable Type. Firstly, anyone who thinks there is a genuine red sable brush available anywhere for these prices, let alone an entire kit of brushes, is naive or very unfamiliar with art supplies. These brushes are NOT red sable. Real red sable brushes in these sizes and in this quantity would cost so much more. These brushes will get furry with the shapes ruined by scrubbing and scumbling your surfaces. Still, these brushes are just so very cheap I can afford to throw them away as they do wear out quickly. Real red sable lasts and lasts. I am still using my original sables I bought 40 years ago but can only use so much in acrylic, saving most for watercolor.

These Transon red sable filbert brushes are excellent quality—soft yet springy bristles that hold paint well and create smooth strokes. They work beautifully with watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints, and the variety of sizes makes them great for both detail and broader coverage.

Excelentes pinceles por el costo que tienen, sólo un detalle, recomiendo lavarlos muy bien al principio pues pierden algunos pelillos y pueden quedar al aplicar la pintura, pero conforme esto pasa los pinceles trabajan sorprendentemente bien
