Doesnt work!
This did not work or pair with the guitar at all!

Works exactly how its supposed to.
I bought 2 of these to replace missing dongles for guitar hero live ps3 guitars. Unfortunately the servers are now dead for that version of the game but the replacement usb dongles work perfectly. Just plug and play straight out of the package.

Improper descriptions
These items did not link up with the guitars that I have and the description was the same as my guitars need to get the triangle style

Only works with guitar hero live, not the older games.
I liked that the dongle worked with my ps3 and my guitar. The major bummer is the lack of compatability with the older games. Does not register as a guitar at all! Only works with the guitar hero live game @ 100%. On the Xbox 360 there is 90% compatibility with the older games. Wammy bar doesn't work, but all the buttons work and that's what's inportant to play the older titles.
