It leaves my hair smooth, shiny, and with great volume. Lightweight, easy to grip, and doesn’t snag or pull. Best suited for medium to long hair due to the size. Highly recommend for a salon-quality blowout at home.

This is an excellent brush. I have very long straight hair and this does actually cut down the time to dry. It also smooths very well. The bristles are not hard and short enough to glide easily through my hair. I was skeptical because it is pricey but absolutely worth it.

I am learning to blow dry my own hair, which has involved more trial and error than I would like to admit. This brush has been a big help because the extra long barrel makes it easier to work through more hair at once and keep some tension while drying. There is a learning curve, but this has felt like one of the tools that makes success more likely.

I love this brush. It’s all one piece so my hair doesn’t get tangled in nooks and crannies. Long barrel means faster drying process.

SAFETY ISSUE!! This is a great brush. It got my thick, kinky, curly, frizz-prone hair sleek and straight. However, there is a serious design flaw in that the end of the barrel at the top of the brush is a large round conductive metal disk. On my first use, I touched the end of the barrel to my neck while drying my hair and got a wicked burn on my neck. With my powerful hairdryer, this brush got super HOT! I was able to greatly reduce the burning potential of the brush by covering the end with moleskin. Please cover the end with moleskin before using this brush with a hairdryer. Particularly if you intend to use it on a child! I’m hopeful that Olivia Garden will fix this dangerous design flaw soon. In the meantime, I will use it only with moleskin covering the end.

Olivia Garden brushes are the best! They are professional grade. The bristles don’t break or damage my fine hair. I’ve owned dozens over the years. Plus, the variety of barrel sizes helps me achieve great style results.

I bought this as my Aveda hairstylist used it on my hair for my last blowout. She is consistently voted top hairstylist in our county each year (she's amazing). I would NEVER normally spend this much on a brush, but first time using it thought it was worth every single penny. It made blow drying my hair exponentially easier. Faster, holds hair so well (and a lot more of it at a time), smooth finish. *I have fine hair that is mid back length. It felt more manageable to me than ever before to attempt a Well done blowout. For reference, I have three other barrel type brushes and a flat blow drying brush. This one is just fantastic: faster drying time, holds the hair (larger sections at a time) easily and very well without tangling too.
