June 27, 2024 Update; These battery packs are still going amazingly well! I have only had to charge them 4 times each in the last year and a half. They last so long, I "lost" the plug in cord twice, like it took so long between charges, I couldn't locate the wall cord when I needed it.. They're so good, I am ordering two more for my adjustable bed. I got these because my wife didn't like the cords coming from the couches and beds. After a quick charge, I installed them on the couches and tested them out. There is NO difference between plugged into the wall or plugged into these batteries. On top of that, I charged them a couple months ago and they're still over half charged. I have kids that make a game of reclining the couches over and over.. I'm amazed they are still holding up so well. 100% would recommend these to everyone.

First let me first say, there was an issue with the compatibility of the battery with my furniture's on/off light. It would hold a full charge for about a week but would then drain quickly. Apparently, this is uncommon, and I just had the misfortune of pairing the two items together. However, Blue Cactus's customer service was extremely patient and helpful while I reached out to the furniture manufacturer, and we were eventually able to come up with a satisfactory solution. It was refreshing to work with a company that stood behind their product... so, for that, they get five stars :-) Even though they had offered a full refund, I was determined to make the batteries work because the back of my furniture is visible, and the 90-degree plug is more aesthetically pleasing. The only thing I might change is to make the cord that plugs into the furniture a few inches longer to have more flexibility in placing the battery under the furniture out of view. Other than that, they're well-made and I hope to get many years of use from them.

I bought 2 of these in August 2023 for our Ashley reclining sofa. The cost of them prevented me from getting them sooner, but I’m so glad I finally got them. I have a family of 5, so these get plenty of use. One charge lasts my family about 1.5-2 weeks. The charge time is long, but that’s why I bought two of them. We just rotate them out as they need charging. It’s very easy to connect and use, hides right under the couch, keeps cords hidden, and I’m satisfied with the amount of use we get per charge.

Do NOT buy, they don’t last long. I bought this battery set 17 months ago and one of them stopped working. For 75.00 plus tax for just the one, that’s a pretty expensive battery. My total charge was $207.00. I’m attaching the video i took of the problem. For one, I have to charge both batteries every night as they don’t last longer than one day, which is not what is advertised and we don’t sit in them till the evening time. I plug them in when I wake up for the day. Again, they aren’t used till after dinner so you’re talking a few hours tops. On the video you will see where 1 of them shows it’s charged to 100%, but when you take it off the charger no lights come on. When you plug it into the chair, zero lights and does not operate the chair. I show you in the video how the one that’s charged is working in the same chair and how when I plug the one that doesn’t work anymore into the charger, it goes back to saying it’s charged at 100% yet does not work. The company did contact me back and said so sorry no replacement.

Bought a pair for our double reclining sectional and it works well. It holds a charge several weeks when used for just seat movement. However if used to charge an iPad while sitting it drains in just several days. It’s 5 star for just seat movement, however.

These sell in furniture stores for as mus as 3xs more....and work as well if not better. Delivery was within hours!!

I purchased a Blue Cactus battery for my Flexsteel recliner - after charging to 100% (which took surprisingly little time), I plugged the battery into my chair on May 13, 2025 and it lasted until June 26, 2025, or 44 days. When it beeped, it was completely depleted. I was pleased with that performance. If I only have to change the battery every 5-6 weeks, that’s not much trouble. I purchased two and have one charged and ready to go when a replacement is needed. As context, I generally only use my chair in the evening for TV viewing, but I use it daily and I am up and down several times each evening, using the chair motor and burning battery life. My chair does have a usb port and charger for mobile devices and I used it a couple times (to see how well it works), but in general I did not want to waste the recliner battery charging other devices as I have other options for that purpose. Overall, this battery delivered as promised.

My husband and I had found the perfect recliner sofa and in all my wisdom forgot to consider how far we would have to position it from an outlet. I refused to give up on our sofa. I stumbled across these and ordered 1 and took it to the furniture store just to make sure. It was a perfect fit. We needed 4 but only purchased 3 plus a splitter. We charge them every 2 weeks just so we are on a regular schedule. Our sofa has a recliner, massage, heat and USB port. We never use the USB port but will use the recliner and massage every other day (too hot right now for the heat). The are usually at about 40% for the ones rarely used and 15% on the one used the most. But keep in mind we use it very frequently and for more than to recline back. I love them! Perfect for hiding the plug and keeping every on from tripping over. We hide/ slide the charger under the sofa and loveseat. We had them for 3 weeks. Highly recommend.
