Paxanpax 123-DY-1416C PFC1241 Lower Duct Changeover Valve Hose for Dyson DC40, DC42, DC50, DC51 Series Vacuum Cleaner, Plastic

For my DC40, this replacement worked well and fit perfectly ONCE you could get to it. It was not really easy to install but youtube videos helped a lot. Out of all the parts in a DC40, this is the ONLY part that requires all the effort to replace since you need torx bits, videos for guidance and patience. If you are handy, then you can do this - just keep track of your screws and where you got them from. I am rather surprised that that this was the only part that was not user serviceable without tools. All the rest of the DC40 is and also my DC14 (really old one) is all user serviceable. This was good price and prevented me from throwing an otherwise good vacuum away. Quality seemed fine but only time will tell. This is a high flex part, so I don't know yet. I'll post an update is it rips or fails within a year. Annnd no, I was not compensated in any way for this.

Seems only slightly less quality than the original part, but those are discontinued. Was a quick and easy fix for my torn one on the vacuum, extending its life again.

My Dyson Dc50 has broken. My son on a visit located the problem this part had a hole. The professionals I called wanted apox $69 plus part to fix. My daughter pulled up a how to on her laptop and fixed it herself. It takes two special heads on a screwdriver which she didn’t have so she ordered a set so play the how to video and make sure you have everything. It’s only about 6? Screws you need to remove to get into your vacuum to switch out the part.

This fit just fine in the Dyson DC50 and fixed right up. The only thing was there was just a little bit of leftover plastic material inside the short stem where it slides on the mounting peg. Once i removed the material then it slipped right on.

Don’t waste your money. Looks fine, fits the vacuum fine, but the rubber gasket is junk. It degraded and started to fall off within months. The vacuum has lost its suction because the seal is junk. Don’t cheap out on the part, since it’s a pain to replace in the first place, now I have to replace it all over again with a quality part that I should have bought in the beginning.

Perfect fit! Easy to put on and now our vacuum works again! Looks like good quality. This was much cheaper than buying a new vacuum!

Giving this 2 stars as while most of it was great the one side rubber gasket was very poorly made and wouldn't stay in place when being used. Luckily I was able to recycle the gasket from the original part to make it work for me.

Great irwm easy to install if you can use screwdriver about 9 screws to take it out

Il ricambio è perfettamente uguale all'originale, l'unica differenza è che con questa versione non è inserito il classico foglio, che Dyson fornisce con le istruzioni per la sostituzione del pezzo, e quindi occorre più tempo per capire i giusti passaggi per fare il lavoro.
