Missouri Meerschaum - Ozark Mountain Hardwood Tobacco Pipe - Rob Roy, Bent Bit

Pipe Smokes as well if not a little better than the Missouri Meerschaum Corncob pipes. Looks great for a pipe, obviously not trying to pass as a briar pipe but is still going to look more in place with briar pipes than even the Orion black pipe will but both are better than most non briar pipes. A smoke will last up to 35 minutes with this pipe. Nice smoker once the pipe is broken in, I did add from a burning piece of thin wood a thin layer of ash onto the pipe walls as the inside had the stain on the bowl to cover that up so I could smoke and get the walls properly covered.Now for the price I recommend the pipe for those who are not sure but want a pipe that is not a corncob to start as they are when I got first pipe $10 before tax but normally are $13 to $15 and worth it as a very first starter pipe for those who do not want any kind of corncob pipe even the Orion all black model. Though I got to use as option 3 for an Aromatic pipe as I have 3--4 non aromatic pipes but not enough Aromatic at only 2.

The perfect affordable starter pipe if you don’t want a corn cob. I still go back and use it sometimes. (cherry aromatics taste great with the wood they use.

Love this pipe, smokes very well, mellows tobacco. Light good bowl size, price is great. Exactly what you need for a daily use pipe you can take anywhere and not be afraid to break or lose. Missouri Meerschaum is a great pipe brand. They have something for everyone who enjoys a pipe.

This is my 2nd MM pipe, my other one is Country Gentleman with a Forever Stem. This pipe is ok so far. Smaller bowl compared to the Country Gentleman. Recommend sanding the inside of the bowl before smoking. Maybe even coating it with a little honey to build up a cake. It definitely has some of the lacquer burring off with the first few bowls. The stem is the issue with MM pipes unless you get one with an acrylic stem. Either way, acrylic Forever Stem is the way to go.

A good gift for a friend who is starting to enjoy the hobby of smoking a pipe.These are just right for the new pipe smoker or the old timer. Not a big pipe it's just right. A simple pipe that will last a long time just take care of it.Don't smoke it hot, smoke slow enjoy your tobacco. Keep It clean, use good pipe cleaners, and change your filters.If you want good information on the hobby of pipe smoking look up mutton chop piper.

Don't buy this product, it is poorly made and expensive for its quality.The shank doesn't fit in the bowel, it gets loose with time since it needs to be glued, also the bottom is poorly made you will never be able to smoke all the tobacco, even by fixing it using pipe mud it wont work, since the shank inside diameter is too big.Another point is, the wood is of low quality, a crack appeared in the bowel with only 30 days of use.The next point, since the shank inside diameter is absurdly big, something like 10mm, tobacco will get inside of it with time and burns inside of it, also burning the shank. You can see in the picture the kind of damage that is caused due this defect over time.I tried to get a refund or a replacement, with the manufacturer. Which said "It looks like the pipe may have gotten set down on something like a cigarette or other burning object. That’s really the only way to get a burn mark like that on the shank. Since the damage was not due to a defect in the pipe itself, I’m sorry but we won’t be able to replace it for you."In resume, this was the most expensive pipe I have ever bought and the worst one, I bought all my pipes in Brazil.

Torn between 4 and 3 Stars. This looks visually appealing outside, but the inside bowl has splintered wood bits and is unsanded, rendering the inside with an unfinished, unpolished look as well as providing extra kindling for what you choose to smoke. I do not recommend smoking from this pipe.It would be very good as a prop for a costume or as a decorative piece. If you just want to hold the pipe in your mouth as a fashion piece, it is great for this purpose. But I cannot recommend smoking out of it, which to you, may or may not defeat the purpose of a pipe.

Pipe is great right out of the package but after changing the stem to a forever stem, it smokes as good any pipe on the market. This is my first hardwood MM pipe and its just as good as the cobs. Cant beat for 7 bucks.Theses pipes are mass produced so if yours comes with any issues either either do a return and get a replacement or do a search on the internet and find out how to fix it yourself.I have had a few come with loose wobbly shanks. No biggy, pull the shank out, add a little wood glue andnlet it sit for a day and its good as new.If its drilled too high off the bottom, pull the shank use some pipe mud (ashes mixed with water to make a paste) to raise the bottom, reglue the shank and let the pipe mud dry a day or to and pipes perfect.If your stem fits too tight take a piece of sandpaper and wrap it around the stem where it fits into pipe and sand it just a little till it goes in smoothly and your good to go.These pipes might not be perfect out of the package but just a bit of work and it will smoke as good as any other pipe. I stopped using briars because these Missouri Meershaums with a forever stems are cheap and give you just as good of a smoke. No need to spend $100+. Country Gentleman with forever stem is the best value there is for the money.

Great pipe. Very underrated. Only negative is that the company polished the inside of the bowl. I had to use a sandpaper to clean that out and honey coated the inside to get rid of the polish. Great and very cool smoke... Definitely recommending it for starters... Goes well with aromatic tobacco if you will..😎

This is a good quality pipe, made in the USA in Misouri. It's an original, not a knockoff. Perfect size bowl for a nice smoke. I grow tobacco and it has a tendency to burn hot, not a problem at all in this pipe. The inside forms a nice cake after a couple of sessions. Highly recommended. I got the Legend corn too and both came in perfect, well wrapped. Only thing I would add is that in the product title for the Ozark pipe it says pipe and tool. I only got the pipe and no tool. Not a big deal but at least please change the title of the listing or send the tool. I'm not the first one to bring it up.

Pipe smokes well so far the bowl came detached from the shank after a few smoke sessions which could be due to the heat produced. I wiggled it back in seemed ok no leakage noticed after. Only question to other buyers what size filters does it take?

Good pipe.weight less and easy to clench. Excellent smoke keeps burning well.Best pipe to buy in india in this price range.
