The Ancient Magus' Bride Vol. 7

This is not your typical romance or magic story. Although the heroine is a human and in her teens, the mage is an odd human/fairy hybrid. There's nothing human about him, unless he uses an illusion. I'm interested to see how the author gets the relationship between these two to develop.This plot pulls a lot on European fairy tales, Wiccan/Druidic Lore, and mythical creatures. All the characters come with colorful pasts and each story is unique. The only trouble is that the author cunningly ends each book on a cliff hanger! What will happen next? You have to wait for the next book! Yes, it is torture, but it is worth waiting for the next installment.I highly recommend this series, but start at the beginning! These characters grow emotionally/mentally with each passing volume.

It's been a very long time since I have been so into a manga I literally count the days to the release of new chapters. This series is stunning, both for it's delightful artistry, but also for it's storytelling. The world is immersive, expansive, and feels limitless. The characters are captivating, compelling, and each chapter just leaves you wanting more. Hand's down one of the most thorough world's I've had the pleasure to get sucked into, the lore is just so wonderful and deeply integrated into the storytelling process it's a true gem and work of art. If you haven't given this series a try I urge you to do so, the anime is also wonderful and follows the manga to a T. Don't miss out on this on this one, you wont regret it!

The thing i love about my main girl kore yamazaki is her art and in depth research into the topics she loves. This current series magus bride is truly amazing and i love everything about it from the plot, the detail, the world building, the characters and the way she writes how magic in this world works! Truly amazing and make sure to check out her other series frau faust! Another amazing series i like just as much as this with completely differentand amazing story as well!

Another exciting entry into Kore Yamazaki's series, she never fails to keep me from flipping through the pages at high speeds. No spoilers, but Ruth appears more in his human form in this installment! I'm always a huge fan of seeing Ruth as a human rather than his dog counterpart so insert my happiness here~ Atop of that, the story in this one shifts with the introduction of several new characters and a heist-like plot that had me on the edge of my seat. I adore the subtle romance between Elias and Chise, though It takes a bit of a back burner to everything else going on in this piece.I miss it!Well, I'm sure Yamazaki will focus on it soon. Until then, I adored this and look forward to the next in the series!

If you are reading this review then you already read the previous volumes in this series and have been caught up in the fantastic and detailed world that the artist created. So just buy this volume and continue exploring this beautiful world.And if you haven't read the previous volumes then buy this volume and all the previous volumes, right now. Trust me you won't regret it.

Good condition although shipping bent a corner I can't complainA little compressed fixed the issue like new and its exactly what I needed next in the seriesI love the development of Chise and Elias's relationships both with each other and the people and neighbors around them

I really enjoy this series and was so glad I picked up the first volume at Anime Expo earlier this year.One really gets lost in the fantasy world that the author weaves.

Wonderful story! I went ahead and read 8 after this online since it isn't released in america yet. Was also very sad to find out that there are only 8 volumes in japan and wish the story came out faster :(

Estou gostando bastante da história. Os personagens são bem carismáticos e comprei fácil a história. Espero que a protagonista tenha um desenvolvimento ao decorrer da obra.Sobre a parte técnica: Gostei bastante do material e qualidade das folhas. A capa destacada foi um extra que me agradou bastante também.

Um mangá de ótima qualidade que foi entregue dentro do prazo com uma alta rapidez pela Amazon; a qualidade da editora Devir não decepciona em nenhum aspecto - acabamento bem estruturado, tradução fidedigna e não posso deixar de mencionar como essa edição de capa móvel permite a proteção do conteúdo dentro do mangá.

Sin contar muchos detalles de la historia para que la descubras por tú, la historia es muy linda y tierna con una protagonista que tiene un pasado muy trágico y que justifica, mucho mejor que en la Bella y la Bestia, el motivo por el que nuestros protagonistas se queden juntos a pesar de que Elias (él que sería la Bestia) le da a Chitose (nuestra bella) la libertad inmediatamente. El formato es un poco más caro y pequeño que él de otros editoriales, posiblemente por ser más pequeña. El manga es para una audiencia para adolescentes porque toca temas fuertes, pero cada centavo que inviertan en este título lo vale, desde el arte hasta la historia y pasando por el diseño y la manera en que se relacionan los personajes y los misterios y lecciones que se les presentan.

The ancient magus bride is my absolute most FAVORITE new manga of all time. The characters are interesting and compelling. The beautiful art and scenery truly paints a spectacular world filled with Magic and fantasy. This manga now has it's own anime ans new episodes are coming out weekly. It follows the manga books perfectly, but I think you should still always read the manga first before watching the anime. The ancient magus bride is an awesome and beautiful, visually stunning read. I would recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy, magic and unique romance.
