Galaxy Heavyweight Vinyl Tablecloth, 54-Inch x 15 Yard Roll, Banana

I normally don't write reviews, but this is a Momma Lifesaver tablecloth! After going through several cheap store bought tablecloths that wore out quickly, meaning, yes the plastic started to wear down and get holes, and having to deal with it shifting over the table all of the time, I needed something durable and dependable! I love my beautiful wood table and don't want my little ones to destroy it, so I needed something practical. It is super durable, heavy and thick, but lays nicely on the table. It doesn't shift around easily, and after 1 year, it has NOT worn out at all!!! I get compliments on it and my mom friends have bought them for their homes as well! I did buy the gray color--which looks like a rubber floor mat--not pretty! But the SAND colored one I have also purchased and is very nice and looks good. Its neutral and keeps the focus on your homes decor and not the table cloth. I like a clean, stylish home even with little ones, and this helps me achieve this! LOVE IT! Bought this for my dad after buying tablecloths every 3-4 months from the local big box store. The local ones were thin and quickly got tiny pinholes in them where the flannel backing pulled through to the top. I bought the Galaxy from Amazon based upon the high reviews, and I will add mine to this! Very good quality vinyl. Cost about 3x more than the big box store, but definitely will last longer than 3 of those cheaper ones. Ordered a longer side due to the size of dad's table. I cut it down to the proper size and did a simple zigzag stitch along the raw edge to keep the flannel from pulling at the edge. It turned out great and we are both very satisfied. Highly recommend. Update 2/16/13, after 4.5 months of daily use and abuse: This tablecloth still looks and feels like new! Quality like the "good old days." There are no pinholes in the vinyl like used to quickly show up in the cheaper ones. We have found it is heavy enough that it does not slide around on dad's table like the cheaper ones used to, which is a bonus as we were constantly having to slide the cheaper ones back into place. The end that I cut down for sizing and did the zigzag stitch on also still looks great. We have the camel color, and I've noticed no fading though part of it gets direct sun daily. Well worth the extra money, and we are still thrilled with the purchase.

More Army Green than Hunter Green I just want to say quickly that this is an extremely heavy duty vinyl tablecloth. It's just perfect for anyone wanting to protect a nice table. Because of the thickness it will stand up well to kids and pets (even pesky cat claws) It also has a soft back side that lies against the table. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because in my case, I was hoping for hunter green and the table cloth turned out to be more army green. I wanted to use it for Christmas but the green is off color. I think I may return it for a different color but the weight, size and quality are the best I've ever seen. I had considered just using this at Christmas but now I think I'll exchange for a more neutral color and use year round since the green is not too Christmassy.

I wanted a good vinyl tablecloth to protect my wood dining table and this one definitely does the job. It is so much thicker and nicer than any other I've tried and is well worth the extra cost. I threw it in the dryer for a few minutes and the creases from being folded came right out. It looks great on the table and the red color is a true red, not a maroon. Wipes clean in seconds and I think it will last a long time. I'll never buy a cheap one at a store again.

I got this table cloth in black for my kitchen table and another in red for my dining room table. They are both very thick, with nice flannel backing. The edges are serged. I had been buying two yards of vinyl at a time a fabric store. It was very thin and tore easily. This is much higher quality and the edges look nicer. I have to intention of washing it, so I cannot comment on how well it handles washing. Because it wipes down very easily I don't think that I'll ever even need to machine wash it, honestly. I plan on buying another of these for my dining room table when it is fully extended for family functions. I highly recommend this table cloth. *I forgot to hit submit on this review, so that is my original review, here is my update- I melted the black one. Don't put anything hot on the table cloth :) I am ordering a bigger one now for my dining room table so I can put one on the when it is fully extended. I did end up washing the red one (52x90) and it washed great, did not melt, fray, crack, etc. I still recommend this table cloth and am buying one in white (52x120) and red (52x70) today.

My boyfriend found this tablecloth for me because I was having such a hard time with the one we got from Walmart for $5. Every time I tried to wipe the table, the tablecloth would move and it was annoying and tedious to try to clean it. When he showed me this one, I balked at the $25 price tag. So we looked around at Bed Bath & Beyond and a couple of other places but no one had anything better than the Walmart Special. :P I bit the bullet and told him to go ahead and order this one for me because otherwise, I was going to go out of my mind. Before ordering, I posted a question here asking about how well it stays in place when cleaning -- for $25, I did not want to be disappointed!! Well, I got positive responses so we ordered it, and I just got it a few days ago. I *LOVE* this tablecloth!!! It's thick, it stays in place (I don't even have to use my tablecloth clips to hold it in place anymore!), and it's very easy to wipe clean. Best of all, it LOOKS NICE. It doesn't look cheap at all. I ordered the hunter green color and it's beautiful. While I still think $25 is a high price for a tablecloth, I grudgingly have to admit that -- with no other options really available -- it's worth the money. It really is. This tablecloth will last a long, long time. :)
