My Stanley tape was lost so I bought this as replacement. It's suitable. Here are differences with Stanley: much more hefty excuse of rubber casing, the tape is wider than usual, almost 1 inch wide tape. It has markings on both sides, which is a plus. The two drawbacks: bulk of product, and locking mechanism not as smooth as Stanley. Locking is reliable, but mechanism is not as smooth.

look at the size of this tape ,build quality is unbelievable, rock solid, I really liked this tape , i just amazed, once you purchased this dont need to worry about anything . rugged inchi tape.

Item is very sturdy and safe to use. Excellent idea to have a locking mechanism. Value for money.

Does the job. Pros: 1. Very affordable 2. Scale is accurate 3. Will not bend when extended for little over a meter 4. Spring tension good, retracts all the way 5. Edges not sharp 6. Scale is thick 7. Double sided hooks at the end Cons 1. The hook at the end are loose and there is +/- of 3mm of play. 2. The pocket carry hook is useless. Keeps falling off when kneeling or bending 3. Plastic is brittle. Till now have not dropped it from height but reckon it will not survive the fall.

Very strong product with solid gripping very easy to measure all types of materials & home purposes item.

Good quality measuring tape with both side marking which comes handy. It's 5mtr as mentioned and feels durable. Go for it.
