Previously, I had custom trays made by my dentist to use with the Opalesence line. However, when I moved I lost the trays! Not wanting to spend another $200, I decided to try CaliWhite. I am so glad I did! I have not had any sensitivity, which I had with my kit from the dentist; it is easy to use, and seems to be working great so far. My teeth have whitened a few shades after just 5 uses. So far, I have only used the regular tray and not the custom tray with great results. The only thing I would change is that the unit be rechargeable and not require batteries. For the money , I would definitely recommend this to anyone who dislikes those whitening strips and wants fast, gentle whitening.

WORKS!!! So I used to always have pretty white teeth in the past and lately my teeth were just yellow and dull. So I bought this in hopes of a more confident and whiter smile. I normally have very sensitive teeth. I will say I felt no sensitivity, no burning or tingling feel so a plus! Instructions fairly simple I used the custom fit trays which were a little tricky at first but not terribly hard. I felt the syringes that contained the gel was the perfect amount of product for each tray top and bottom. I like the case for your trays easy way to keep them in a clean place. Honestly after the first treatment it was hard for me to visually see a difference but I had taken pictures beforehand and throughtout the process to go back and see... and after one treatment there was a difference. Im on day 4 only have completed one full syringe so I still have one syringe left and you can clearly see my results that there is a significant difference! I have been using their toothpaste as well the activating charcoal along with treatments. So I can assume this has helped achieve my results! Overall great product worth your money, fairly simple for at home use, sensitivity safe (my opinion) definitely will recommend to others!

I tried the teeth whitening strip kit once, and while I did notice some improvement in the shade of my teeth, I wouldn't say the results were anything extraordinary. The application process was relatively simple, and the device stayed in place reasonably well. I didn't experience any discomfort or sensitivity, which was a plus. However, I think I'll need to use it a few more times to see significant changes. Overall, it's a decent option for at-home teeth whitening, but don't expect miracles after just one use.

Unfortunately, this product does not seem to work as the company states. At the moment I cannot comment on the whitening, because I was not given the correct items. One of my syringes arrived spilled/empty, but that is not the problem here (see photos and note consistency of the "gel"). The company was quickly responsive and is mailing me replacements. Not an issue, mishaps happen. I am talking about the efficacy and functionality of the rest of the entire kit. I'll start with the syringes of whitening "gel". Last night was my first time using the kit. I hadn't really analyzed the product beyond the opening, reading through directions, and requesting replacement syringes. I decided to use the Universal Fit Tray, but when it came to inserting the "gel"...well it's not possible because it's literally just a liquid. It's as fluid as water. How is it supposed to be gum safe and also hold onto the bottom row/upside down? Also, moving the plunger to dispense the "gel" was sticky and resulted in it just spurting out everywhere and wasting some of the product. I went through reviews this morning and noticed in some pictures the product is clearly more viscous, and also noticed that some people are reporting the same problem: liquid instead of gel. I read in "Questions" it can get too warm, so I guess I'll put it in the fridge or something and see what happens, but it would have been nice to get a usable product initially. Putting it in a colder place also does not explain the horrible taste. It is supposed to taste minty. Anyway, I attach the light and just fill the top part figuring it'll swish around my mouth because the "gel" is actually a liquid, which worked. But of course, it's not "gum safe". It's literally all over the inside of my mouth. It also tastes absolutely terrible and burns. I've never used a UV whitening product so I assume this is normal it will go away when I rinse my mouth out. Hint: it didn't. I do the 30 minutes and go to rinse my mouth out and my lips gradually became very dry/chapped and I am having to continually pat them with water and chapstick to keep the burn/dryness at bay. I woke in the morning with redness on the inside of my lips and raised and inflamed tastebuds. The redness has gone away but the dryness and inflamed tastebuds remain. I should have taken a picture of that but didn't. It's been 18 hours and my lips and tongue still hurt. Other reviewers are reporting the same thing. When I went to use the case after rinsing, the Universal Tray doesn't fit inside of it properly. See video. It won't close tight. There is no hook/snap so there is nothing to force it to stay closed. The Thermoform Tray seems to fit okay in the case though. But also, why send two types of trays and one case that doesn't seem to properly hold even one of the Trays? What if I want to use both interchangeably? Of course, I can just put the one I'm not actively using in a sandwich bag or something but still, just seems like poor product design. Lastly, the directions have a contradiction. In Steps 4-8 it says to clean teeth (brush, floss) use the light then continue cleaning again. So...am I supposed to clean my teeth before or after or both? I am so annoyed by all of this! When I receive the replacement syringes for the "gel" that leaked everywhere I might update, but even so, I am *very* unlikely to repurchase or recommend this product.

It comes with enough gel for 10 treatment days. I'm on my 6th day. I skipped one because I was really tired. There were noticeable results after the first use. The gel sticks really well to the side of the retainer. I had slight irritation on my gums during one treatment, but was fine on the others. The first time I did it, I didn't pull my lips out around the retainer. I think this caused the gel to really sit on my gums causing irritation. The lack of a seal also caused a ridiculous amount of drooling. You're supposed to brush, floss, and dry your teeth first. Do your treatment. The light has an auto-timer of 10 minutes. You can leave it in for up to 30 minutes. I did 10 minutes for the first 4 treatments, and 20 minutes for the last two. Then you rinse with warm water, and brush again. I'm not sure if it's officially waterproof, but I did do one treatment while I took my shower (multitasking!) with no issues. They suggest you do it at night. It says your teeth will be more suseptible to staining for the first 2-3 hours after treatment while your teeth remineralize. Doing it before bed protects them from staining. (So don't do it for a quick whitening, then go on a coffee date. It will defeat the purpose. ) My dentist prescribed me a remineralizing toothpaste to be used at night before bed. I use it after my treatment, and make sure I don't eat or drink anything except water until morning. I might be concerned about mineral loss in my teeth if I didn't have the special toothpaste.

When I first started using this product I was really excited because I started seeing results fairly quickly. My teeth were much whiter and I was very happy. Then it broke after only a few uses and was no longer usable and all my progress went down the drain. This product is also not TMJ friendly, as it requires you to keep the retainer in your mouth with your jaw propped open for 10 minutes and I often could not keep it in the whole time or needed breaks. Even though this product does achieve its goal, I would not recommend it because it breaks fairly too easily to get what you want out of it

First, a little about me...34 year old female, remote history of cigarette smoking for several years in my early 20s (ew!), lots of soda drinking in my teens, lots of coffee and iced tea in my adulthood, and I probably drink an average of one bottle of red wine a month. Excellent oral hygiene (no cavities ever), utilize an electric toothbrush and daily water flossing. But thanks to the various things I’ve done over the years that are known to cause tooth staining, it’s no surprise my teeth were quite stained. And I actually hadn’t drank a lot of iced tea in a long time but in the past few months I’ve been on a kick and for whatever reason in these months I felt the tea started staining my teeth at an exponential rate. So after browsing a bit on amazon I selected this product. Today is day 2 (in a row) and so far I’m loving it. I’m actually really kicking myself for not taking a pic before I tried it the first time. It’s easy to use and convenient to just sit there with it while you watch television or read. It doesn’t taste terrible (though of course it doesn’t taste like candy either) and for me at least the gel stays in the trays (and on my teeth) fairly well. When I tried this the first time yesterday I was pretty disappointed but today I felt I saw a huge difference. I will follow the directions to use for 7 days then I will follow the maintenance instructions; I will update the post if my experience is negative in any way but for now I’m quite impressed.

Great product. Noticed a difference after one session. Make sure to read the instructions before putting mouth trays into hot water as they quickly mold to your teeth and can get stuck together. It’s fine for my sensitive teeth but quickly irritated parts of my gums where they are receding, but went away after washing it off - just be sure not to use too much solution in the mouth trays. Definitely will be repurchasing!

I bought this about a month and a half ago and it had great results right away, no complaints. When I was using it last week, I noticed my LED lights starting to flicker. Disappointed in my batteries already potentially being dead after only a month, I bought new batteries. I put them in and my lights turned back on. Almost immediately they began to flicker again and after about 2 minutes, went out completely. I pressed the button again and the timers beeping was still sounding so I don't think it was the battery but the actual LED lights themselves being burnt out. I have contacted the company about sending me a new one but still have not heard back. Otherwise, I recommend this product, I found it gave me results and very easy to use.

Excellent product. Much better than the store bought white strips. Easy to use. Biggest difference was after the first use then it was minimal, but at the end it was nice and noticeable. I used it for 20 minutes for 10 days. They are not perfectly white but whiter for sure. Wish the refills were easier to get in Canada. Highly recommended. Very glad that I used it.

This has made my teeth so white! The first time I used it the custom retainer didn’t sit properly and burned my gum in a small area but whitened pretty great. Didn’t want the product to go to waste and loved the results after the first time. So I gave it another shot and have loved it since. Didn’t get another burn and kept using it. I suggest that anyone using it really ensures that the excess gel is wiped off from the gums or a burn will happen. Flavour wasn’t bad and was super easy to use
