These carabiners are fine quality anluminum making them lightweight yet durable and they automatically lock when closed. To open it’s a simple quarter turn then push in like a normal carabiner. Before long it become second nature. I have been buying these for years and have not had one fail yet.

Couple things I've noticed on others vs these: These are completely smooth vs rough edges bordering on sharp with many others I've seen. That is very important if you're attaching it to anything cloth - be it your belt loop or a cloth loop on say an earbud case that can slowly be cut off by a sharp edge. Also, when they aren't sturdy like these and break, you can lose stuff. I like to have my Raycons clipped to the outside of my bag for easy access. I set my bag down and noticed the clip was broken at the hinge, and I was ready to lose them. I replaced the broken clip with one of these. The way this clip is made is great. It's secure, but can be opened one handed - even with arthritis! Someone standing behind me would have a lot of trouble unclipping them without getting my attention. Even with my arthritis, I was able to unclip my inhaler fast. So that's the functional. The colors are so vibrant without being gaudy. I got gold and pink. I do have to order a couple more.

I’ve bought probably a total of 15 of these by now over the last couple years. They are strong and last. The ones on my key ring get worked hard all day. The mechanisms have yet to break on a single one. I also use to haul things onto roofs for my job with 3/8ths rope and this. Use it for boat ropes. Use it for camping set ups and hiking pack attachments. Amazing value for a licking carabiner. *im not sure I would trust these for actual body weight climbing since they are not name brand. They are “tested” and rated but who knows.

Got these for my dog leashes. So far they r great. Love that they spring closed.

They are as tough as anything in their class, at a very reasonable cost.

I am a fan of caribiners. I have all sorts. These are great because they are smaller, they lock, and they are sturdy enough I could easily load my weight onto them if my full size biners failed me, making them great as backup safety biners. Light weight, great color. I have ordered a few sets of these.
