Good Stuff
Like probably 70% of the other reviewers I don't have an Urnex machine. I've never even seen one. I do have a couple of Jura / Capresso machines (I like coffee). With one at work and one at home, they go through cleaning tablets pretty fast. The Jura tablets work great (I guess...) but they are a bit expensive. These tablets are about half the size of the Jura's. I don't know if that's important or not. If it worries you - use two of these at a time. They still cost a lot less. One thing to consider - you probably should clean your machine once a week. Doing that with one of these tablets is way better than cleaning with an expensive tablet once every month or so.

Works great
I have used Jura cleaning tablets for the last 3 years that we've owned our coffee machine. I have to admit the water comes out a lot browner with these tablets than with the Jura's after I run the clean cycle, and I usually run it a second time without the tablet just to make sure that all the detergent is gone and the water then comes out a lot cleaner than with the Jura tablets. And of course they are so much cheaper. I did put 2 tablets the first time I used them just to be on the safe side but after that I found out that 1 tablet does the same job. I can now clean it every week or every other week (you don't have to but why not since they are so much less expensive) without feeling like I am breaking the bank.

Helps remove the rancid oils in the brew path of your coffee.
This is a must to clean the rancid oils from your machine and taste only the fresh coffee. I use it regularly and it works well.

This is OxiClean
It is sodium carbonate and sodium percarbonate, which is OxiClean. OxiClean is 11¢ an ounce. This product is twenty times the price at $2.00 an ounce. Is there a way to use Oxiclean to clean your super automatic? Maybe. Measure out 2 grams and put it in the ground coffee funnel where you would put these tabs? I don't know but I think I'll try it. On the other hand these tabs are WAY cheaper than the Jura tabs. I clean my machine weekly and don't wait for the prompt. So these tabs are far more economical than the Jura tabs. No way to know if they clean as well, but the foamy dirty water looks similar.

Multipurpose cleaner! You can clean all kinds of stains.
This tablet is a magic. I don't know what kind of chemical magic it is, but it cleans everything! Actually it contains Phosphoric acid, disodium carbonate, sodium dodecylbenzenesulphonate, sodium carbonate, and alcohol per sds. Phosphoric acid is another type of acid such as citric acid (found in many food and cleaning agents) and acetic acid (vinegar). It is in sodas you drink. What I'm saying is it's a safe chemical to use around eating utensils. I've using this for pretty much everything. Those pesky tea/coffee rings in your tumbler? drop one of this overnight and then lightly agitate with a sponge. bam! it's gone. You wine decanter has a red stain? drop one of this for 5 min and agitate with a bottle sponge. IT'S GONE! Obviously, I can't see how well it cleans inside my espresso machine. From what I've seen, I know that it's clean my machine nice and clean.

Great product, reasonable price, will definitely buy again
These work great with our Breville bes870 espresso machine. We have hard water with lots of scale in kettles, coffee makers etc. This is a great price on a quality product that enhances our enjoyment of the machine. We use pre-filtered water, and a filter in the water tank of the machine but still have scale build up. This works quick and easy, and having a larger quantity means not re-ordering or trying to stretch it out between cleanings.
