I bought these football gloves as a birthday gift for my 10 year old sons, his favourite colour is purple so these are perfect and he is very happy with them along with his new football net for the garden! The sticky latex palms on these are no joke. A lot of kids' gloves use cheap plastic foam that lets the ball slide right off but these have a premium tacky texture. The double-layer wrist straps are fantastic. The wide Velcro band wraps around securely, keeping the gloves locked tightly in place. It gives great stability to smaller wrists and prevents the glove from sliding off when they dive or slide to make a save. Kids are incredibly rough on goalkeeper gear - they tend to scrape their hands on the grass, astro-turf, and gravel. While all soft latex palms will show wear over time, these have held up remarkably well after several rough matches. The stitching between the fingers is thick and hasn't started fraying at all. The back of the gloves is flexible and features breathable mesh paneling. My son hasn't complained about his hands getting sweaty or itchy at all. These gloves offer professional-feeling quality at a very reasonable price point for growing kids. They look incredibly sharp, protect young hands, and give young keepers the literal grip they need to make epic saves. An absolute must-have for any aspiring youth goalie!

Great, affordable option for our young players. My five and seven year old boys use these weekly. The size is accurate and the grip is great. For the price, you can't beat it.
