No, it's only sodium bicarbonate.

Hello,When does the product expire?

Normally it's written in the container but you can use it next one more year after expiration date if you keep it air tight. Because oxygen react with products nothing else.

Why dissolve tablet in water first?

Because if you dissolve the tablet first, the medicine tends to work faster than just swallowing it whole. It works both ways, but some people say it works faster if the tablet is dissolved. I personally tend to swallow the tablet and chase it with water.
