3/8" Male NPT in-Line Strainer with 50 mesh Stainless Steel Filter Screen

I'm using this to strain the hot water line before my kitchen sink. I'm adding another for the dishwasher line. A tankless water heater can cook the minerals in the water & it starts shedding the particles. A vinegar flush is needed, but this filter prevents those pesky particles (looks like sand/rust flakes) from clogging my kitchen faucet. Simply put on an adapter to change from IPS to 3/8 compression & I couldn't be happier. Pesky problem solved.

I'm not sure what to say... it's exactly what I needed and does the job well. I have an expensive appliance that burned out because it's water screen (not intended to be customer servicable) clogged with fine gravel, the tank refill was too slow and the heaters burned out. This strainer, had I known I needed it, would have saved me the $1000 repair.

Works well for a replacement inline water control sprinkler line.

Solved my problem of scale rust stopping up one of my appliances. Easy to clean as well.

These were exactly what I needed. Very easy to install and they are catching all the "junk" from my pipes!!
