iOttie Velox Magnetic Wireless Car Mount for MagSafe iPhones - Charger Included. Compatible with iPhone 12 to 15 Series

Just installed this mount; haven’t really tested it out on the road yet, but it feels very solid. Easy to install; I picked this holder because of where I wanted to mount it in my truck (vertically on the inside of a cubby between the console and the dash), and it fits there perfectly. Holds my iPhone 15 firmly out of the way of any controls and air vents. One word of caution to any buyers: be doubly sure of the location of the mounting plate and the angle of the stem before uncovering any of the adhesives - once it’s in place, it isn’t moving. Even the suction cup surface is sticky, and once it touches the base plate, it’s a bugger to remove even before locking down the suction. Which is a good thing once it’s in place. I think it’s going to work out well.

Great daily ease of use! I have owned it for over 6 months and it's the best phone mount I've ever had. I am coming from a previous iOttie product that also had wireless charging but used claws to hold the phone in place. As often as my phone comes on and off the charger, I really wanted NOT to have to find the release buttons all the time, and this product is perfect for that. My previous product also latched into the CD slot which was very secure but made rattling noises sometimes. I also appreciate that the mount telescopes out a bit if needed, because I did need that. It charges fast enough to keep up with my phone GPS power consumption. Nitpick: While the system is very secure when used with the flat plate mount, it's a problem on many modern dashes just to FIND A FLAT SPOT! Manufacturers love swoopy curves everywhere. I had to find a place that was only slightly domed and add some perimeter of sticky tape give it contact around the edges. I wish someone would come up with a system of dash mounting that accounted for the curves.

It was hard for me to choose between the Dash version and the Vent version, but I eventually decided to go with the dashboard version as I didn't want to block my car's air vent. That's although all the dashboard mounts I ever bought have dried-out in time due to the hot weather in my country and didn't hold anymore. But I decided to give this one a try anyway. I was very glad to see that the box contains what in first glance looks like a coaster, but it's not(!) It actually serves for a scenario that you have a textured dashboard (like in my case) where the suction of the base of the mount doesn't hold very well since it's not on a flat/smooth surface. The "coaster" comes specifically to aid you in this case - it has a sticky part at the bottom which you need to peel-off the protecting film from, and to stick it in the preferred location on your dashboard – choose the location you put it carefully as once it’s sticked, it would be difficult to take it off to relocate to a different spot. THEN - you need to raise the suction lever of the mount base, to put it on the other flat/smooth surface of the "coaster" and to lower the lever of the mount base firmly. It will hold the mount arm in place like a solid rock! And the telescopic arm is a very convenient feature! Oh, I almost forgot - the MagSafe works great at both holding my iPhone 12 mini in place and in charging it. The only down-side I can point out about (which made me give this review only 4/5 stars and not 5/5) is that the piece that goes into the car's lighter socket doesn't have a led indicator, so you can't really tell if you have a bad fuse if/when it suddenly stops charging.

I really wanted this to work because the build quality of this mount is amazing. The magnets grip is outstanding but it just doesn't charge my phone. I could of got over it if there wasn't a cable attached to it but now it's just in the way and useless. Sometimes it charges my phone but then it stops randomly and then never works again until I unplug it and plug it back in, but even then it'll just stop working again. I use another one that I wanted to replace with it that still works just fine. I even tried different charger ports to rule out those but it still cuts out.

Huge fan of this car mount as it provides a sturdy magnetic connection for my phone in the car, huge plus that it can also charge the phone wirelessly.

I like that you can put it on the air vent or dash. I prefer the air vent and it holds it great. The magnet is strong as well.

The only thing I did not care about this phone mount is the sticky goo on the suction cup, but besides that the mount worked great and was super easy to install. Please note that if you have this stuck to the window of your vehicle the sun might make the mount fall. All I did was restick it back on and it held.

Strong magnet, good charger, amazing customer service. We have been using it daily in work vehicle and it has held up well. One day the charger died and when I reached out to customer service, they were very helpful and after troubleshooting send me a replacement which I wasn’t expecting.

Great to start with but then went pear shaped. First it started to wobble from side to side on the base then the pivot went floppy making it pretty much useless
