Amazing value - great little tent
Ordered on July 20, 2021 We originally purchased this tent for a buddy and his dogs to use when they visited us, and funny enough? Now that our teen son & I have started backpacking this is the best option we have. This tent easily fits our wide (30") sleeping pads with room in between them for our 2 large dogs and our backpacks. I am working on replacing the fiberglass tent poles with aluminum to reduce weight, and I have some plans in the works to reinforce the floor to keep it strong against dog claws and the fact we don't use a tarp underneath. No issues with tears yet, just some preventative steps I plan to take. There will be some jaws dropped that we take this thing backpacking, but so far, we haven't found anything wide enough to fit us and the dogs that weighs significantly less. Once we lose the extra fiberglass pole weight this puppy will clock in around 5 to 5.5 pounds. Between that and the pack down size? Even backpacking tents in the hundreds of dollars can't beat those specs. After a few years' worth of use it could use some fresh seam sealer, but we have not had any issues with rain or leaks. Again, some preventative steps just to keep this thing going. We did snap one of the sections for the doorway awning, completely our fault though from poor packing and really poor handling. The actual tent poles have held up well to years of similar mistreatment. Honestly this little tent is amazing and if you're on the fence, just go for it! Ease of set up is great, one person can set this thing up in just a few minutes. Simple cross of 2 poles, pin the tent corners into the poles and then slide on the rain fly. Can & have done it in the rain and in the wind without high drama. I see there are some comments knocking the included tent stakes saying they don't work or don't work well.... here's my luke warm take on that: the stakes included with ANY tent should never be used as they are all garbage. Do yourself a favor (and save your trip from disaster): buy some legit tent stakes. Normal campers can get some lovely steel stakes at any retailer for cheap, and backpackers should know to snag some aluminum ones which are going to weigh less and like, you know, stay in the ground. Opening a new tent should be a 2-step process: 1) check that all parts are included, 2) throw the provided tent stakes away.

Perfect for anywhere
I bought this tent for ocassional camping trips but it is so roomy that we take naps in the middle of the day in the back yard. It is easy to put up and take down, has lots of usable space, and an excellent value.

Decent tent
easy set up, quality is as expected for a $130 tent, a bit thin on the materal, but stitching seems are reenforced with a flat layer of glue on the rain cover all other stitching on the tent is good and secure (no freyed edges or broken stitches, comes with a 12mo warranty card in the bag! also bag is big enough to re-package tent back into it after use. may recommend getting better heavy duty stakes cause the rain cover hanges over the front of the tent and the wind will catch it like a kite if u leave the door open. otherwise good tent for the money can fit queen size bed with another twin next to it. i got the 6person tent. can completely stand up in 6 person tent im 5'6" will work good for light camping conditions at a camp ground, wouldn't trust it for heavy prolonged use just cause fabric does feel thin. but! im happy with it all i use it for is taking my family 2-4year olds and a 2 year old camping at the campground over night works perfect for light general camping would recommend.

Nothing fancy, but nothing bad!
I've been living in this tent full-time for a 2-3 months in the desert. While there are better ones I prefer for size and luxury, this thing is a surprisingly good tent for the money. As someone who has lived in a few different tents while doing outdoor work, here are my thoughts: Assembly: Ridiculously easy to assemble. Almost too easy. It feels overly simplistic at first, but fortunately my worries were put to rest over time. Packed Size: This is where it shines. I've lived in larger, more comfortable tents that took up 4 times as much space as this one when packed up. The tent case is effectively a small duffle bag, an almost negligible concern regarding volume it takes up in a car or closet. Waterproofing: It's taken a few pretty solid storms without any leaks. I trust it in thunderstorms no problem. Windproofing: This is where the desert truly tests it! Sustained 30mph winds are not uncommon. I am very impressed with how well it holds up, although it does keep me on edge at times. **With proper assembly and ALL rainfly reinforcement lines tightened down tight. Without all of these variables being perfect, it will not hold up (as with all tents of this shape/design)** Size: I decided to opt for a 6-person instead of an 8-person this time, and regret it. It feels a lot smaller than the floor dimensions suggest. For sustained use, consider a larger size. Durability: It sits in the sun all day, gets pounded by dirt, and I haven't even managed to put a hole in the floor yet. I'm admittedly pleasantly surprised Downsides: Simplicity. This tent is aggressively simple. You are getting no added luxury (but you're not paying for it either) Lack of windows. This is arguably the biggest drawback. You have the door which doubles as a window, and that's it. No options for additional airflow Door cover. While the tent overall is solid, the piece that hangs out horizontally over the door is not. This is a minor inconvenience more than anything, but with how flimsy it is it feels unnecessary. Stakes. The included tent stakes are pretty poor. That being said, that's standard for a lot of tents, and to be expected. Rainfly connection. Every now and then the velcro connection points on the rainfly come undone. Not a big issue, just be aware of it if using for more than a few days. Light penetration. This is not a blockout tent. Despite the dark color, the sun will pound you in the morning. Again, not a problem that is limited to just this tent, but something to be aware of. **A couple items of note, on general tent use** With all tents, I spray the exterior seams, rainfly, and various surfaces with waterproofing material. Similarly, I tarp the bottom and use aftermarket tent stakes for the type of soil (corkscrews for loose sand, higher end straight stakes for packed dirt) as opposed to the included stakes. This review (and how I consider it fully waterpoof and highly windproof) is written with both of these assumptions. Overall deal for the money? Stellar! One of the best deals out there. Would I buy it again? Probably not, but I'd still recommend it in a heartbeat to anybody for weekend use, or long-term use for a smaller person.

Great value for us..
Great tent for our use... actually obtained 3 in total. Great headroom, blocks mosquitoes and holds up well if assembled correctly.. 🤭

Great functionality, poor quality
As soon as I put this tent together, I loved it. Was easy to set up, has a built-in tarp bottom to it so the tent doesn't get soaked, has lots of room and has nice storage pockets inside for phones/wallets etc. My only complaint; the rain fly pole broke presumably because of the amount of tension being too much. The tent wasn't even up for 24 hours... no wind. These tent poles seem pretty flimsy and cheap. I loved the price of this tent, so I didn't expect everything to be luxury and quality, but this is the first time I used this tent and the pole snaps due to tension from the position/design of the rain fly awning. Not an ideal situation. Tape won't fix this. Unfortunately, I really love this tent but will probably return it for a replacement. All in all, tent is really nice and the canvas part of it had no issues, so no complaints with the tent itself. But these poles are lacking.

Survived the weekend AND my husband!
We took this tent on a weekend camping trip, and let me tell you—it held up against wind, dew, mosquitoes, and my husband insisting he “didn’t need instructions.” Spoiler: he did. Setup was surprisingly simple (once I took over). The tent is roomy, well-ventilated, and actually fits what it says it will—no playing Tetris with sleeping bags. We fit both of us, our gear, and his snoring without a single pole snapping. Miracles do happen. It kept us dry through a surprise drizzle, and I loved the little storage pockets for flashlights, snacks, or whatever else you don’t want to lose in the dark. If your goal is a smooth camping trip with minimal arguments and maximum coziness, this tent delivers. And if it can survive both Mother Nature and my husband’s “wilderness skills,” you know it’s tough.
