Not sure why these are rated as 4.2 on the reviews?? I’ve had them for about a year, filled initially & refilled this year, and they are still fine.

Did not see ants after placement. The ants were attacking my hummingbirds

Never seen an ant use this thing. Glad I only bought two - the online pest companies make you buy 12 at a time. It seems durable enough.

Argentine ants are a major problem in California. Spraying with ant poison is a temporary solution, you really need to use something that they will carry back to their nests.I've used this bait station for maybe two weeks and it has been very effective. It is divided into two compartments, I have both liquid and dry bait in it and I've moved it around to various ant trails. The ants find the bait and in a day or two the ant trail disappears.The bait station is made of strong plastic, it looks like it will survive sunlight and the elements. It's been easy to use.

Had a carpenter ant issue outside and got some heavy duty gel to deal with them. But we didn’t want the dogs getting near the gel so bought this to put the gel in.Definitely works! As others have said, it’s a bit difficult to open when it’s snapped shut. But mostly important, it works like it’s meant to!

Well I haven't used it yet, I can't seem to get anyone to answer me about what this green plastic tube is that was inside of it? It's not a difficult question it shipped with this 1-inch green plastic tube that slides down the middle.
