Works perfectly!
If you want to record flight videos, there are only two things you need: this kit and a GoPro Hero 7 Black. That's all I used to record this clip. It worked perfectly. Here's a clip of me landing a Cessna 162 Skycatcher with gnarly crosswind, using this kit. ***EDIT: I should mention that Amazon compressed the video. The original is super sharp and smooth at 60FPS, The audio (which is why you are buying this kit) is unaffected.

quality product
This is by far a must have for flying and capturing voice of you and instructor or passengers along with ATC. I just started my private pilot training and wanted to be able to watch my video's in order to become more proficient. This tool allows you to do that.
