Clairol Color Gloss Up Temporary Hair Dye, Out of the Blue Hair Color, Pack of 1

I've purchased this blue color a few times and it's always delivered fun vibrant color. It's such a quick and easy process, it's just like putting on a hair mask for 15 minutes. I have very dark brown hair and have used this after a major bayalage job, and it's also worked great (obviously darker) when I've bleached far fewer levels, creating very different but fun looks. I was also complimented by someone specifically for the silvery very light blue tone by gray hairs I had from using the gloss. These typically have not colored my virgin gray hairs in the past, but I expected that, so it was a fun surprise that it had this effect. I am really looking forward to trying it when I have more gray hair.

Love this color, the only blue i use

My son really wants blue hair. He's 8 and asked me to put temporary dye in his hair. I didn't want to get something permanent or bleach his hair out to make it a vibrant blue so I bought this. It was my thought that this would show blue but not be eye popping. We applied it to his hair and waited 20 minutes which is 5 more than asked in instructions. Then we washed it out and it all washed out. Not a trace of blue was left, not even on his scalp. I don't know what we did wrong... We followed the instructions and applied to freshly showered damp hair. He was so disappointed 😞. I'm also pretty disappointed.

My hair were sooo dry after this, not worth buying. Never again

I read a lot of the reviews and saw people saying it didn't work or, there was no gloves or instructions. Well if you read the descriptions it doesn't say it has those in the box, it tells you on the side of the box you need to wear gloves and have clean damp hair that's been bleached (or previously colored if you are just touching up). As you can see the blue was almost out and I wanted to darken it back up, so I washed my hair(no conditioner) and towel dried it, applied it to my hair(with my own gloves) and waited close to 20 mins, I rinsed it and was very happy with the outcome, will be buying again.
