Works Great and surpricely last a lot. Recomended for countries where 220v is the standar.

Unfortunately this seems to be an impossible shape to find anywhere but online. And I absolutely HAVE to have this EXACT size for my strobes. Oh well. Although you CAN live without a modeling light, I like having enough light so I can focus my camera in dark situations.

I am not sure what's the reason you can only ...
I am not sure what's the reason you can only use this type bulb with the Elinchrom D lite monolights and no other bulbs. Those are Tungsten bulbs. Anyway, it is a necessary evil I had to buy as a replacement.

OEM Elinchrom Modeling light
Very pleased to find original Elinchrom modeling light for my EL 500 Classic studio lights. Price from Norman Camera was very reasonable and the shipping was very quick to the west Coast! ighly recommned both the product and vendor.

Wrong voltage for USA
I have no idea why they only sell the 230v version (I didn't realize this, and ordered 3 and each when I finally tested them, they are all dim)... because they're not correct for USA voltage! It should be marked more clearly not for USA use if that is the case. I found correct voltage at B&H.

A quality product from Elinchrom. The bulb has what might well be a unique voltage (196 volts), so it's essential to get the original bulbs.

Un peu cher pour une ampoule, mais au final satisfait car il s'agit d'une originale qui fait parfaitement le job. Lampe pilote utilisé sur un flash Elinchrom mais qui fonctionne probablement avec d'autres marques.
