Mild heating problems but is ok

This is my second Anker power bank. I had assumed that it’s a good, well known brand so I has bought two - one MagSafe and the other is regular with digital display. The digital display one concked off some 9 months from purchase - Anker replaced it with a refurbished one which is working as of now (been about a month, was under warranty - warranty will be over in two months) The second MagSafe one has stopped charging (meaning it’s not getting charged after suddenly losing charge) today - about 10 months from purchase. Will log a ticket tomorrow and I’m sure I will get an apple style refurbished replacement. However, the bigger worry is why they fail so much. I noticed after searching that their power banks have had many recalls in the US. Not sure I will buy this at least in India in the future.Update as of 31 July 2025 - post the above review, Anker wrote to me initially saying they will offer a refurbished replacement and maybe a week later saying they will refund. Since then I have followed up twice and have been told the refund will arrive in 2/3 days. Today again they have said refund will happen in 2/3 days. It’s looking like a case of the brand taking an Indian customer lightly as we have weak consumer laws (have had much better experience with Dyson and with Ecovacs for separate class of products and with Stuffcool for similar class of products). Very disappointed. Downgrading rating to 2 star from the previous rating of 3. Recommend not to buy.Update 17th Aug 2025: Downgrading to 1 star. Anchor and Amazon continue to play football with the promised refund. I get communication from Amazon saying they are trying their best and from Anchor saying Amazon is to blame but zero progress. I have lost faith in Amazon too. Intend to take legal action as the amount is substantial enough. Good intentioned folks but either powerless or careless.

Product states 10,000 mAh but I received a 5,000 mAh packed inside a 10,000 mAh box ??Otherwise the product is flawless imo

Elegant design and perfect size that doesn’t block the camera. Solid stand, great for those who don’t use wired earphones. Battery lasts well, though charging is a bit slow. Overall, very useful and reasonably priced

Ayant testé différents produits de la marque Anker et d’autres marques pour une utilisation type batterie externe MagSafe, je reste positionné sur ce modèle (pour le moment).Recharge quasiment deux fois mon iPhone 13 mais pour les modèles au dessus comptez une seule recharge pleine voire 1,5 (en fonction de votre utilisation).La batterie ne se recharge uniquement que par USB C (câble fourni, qui n’est pas en nylon tressé donc à voir dans le temps).Vous avez la possibilité de charger 2 appareils en simultané : 1 en MagSafe et/ou par câble USB / USB C, l’autre par câble USB / USB C (considérez une batterie minimum de 10 000 pour réaliser ce type de charge, donc ce modèle répond à ce besoin).Produit fiable de bonne manufacture, attention aux rayures cependant (à ne pas mettre avec des objets métalliques comme des clés ou pièces dans votre sac / poche), les traces de doigts s’enlèvent facilement avec un tissu microfibre classique.Enfin, c’est un produit acheté en alternative à la batterie MagSafe vendue par Apple à 120€ qui n’a qu’un seul « défaut » c’est qu’il n’est pas intégré à l’écosystème Apple et donc vous ne voyez pas le niveau de batterie sur votre interface widget, mais il suffit d’appuyer sur la batterie pour le voir, donc en soit ce n’est vraiment pas dérangeant même si les niveaux sont mesurés sous formes de leds et non de %).Je recommande ce produit :).N’hésitez pas à liker ce commentaire pour aider également les futurs acheteurs, en vous remerciant chaleureusement par avance.
