SPIDER-GWEN VOL. 3: LONG-DISTANCE

this comic book it's not the better one of the serie
I'm a super fan of spider gwen, but this comic book it's not the better one of the serie. As allways, full of action and internal strugless, not only for the main character, also for every one arround her. I'm so grateful for the quick shipping, the only "but" it's that the book has a really small damage at the corner, But I assume it was on the rude mail service, the seller made a really nice packing. Still very happy with this purchase! Why this is not a great one of SpiderGwen? If you want to buy this, you must know that this volumen does not contain the issues 14-18. You only get the 14 & 15 plus the annuals, to get the other numbers you must buy the crossover Spider-Man/Spider-Gwen: Sitting in a Tree. So be aware of this, this purchase only is worthy for people who collects the serie. Despite all, I recomend this comic serie and the seller

Solid read
This was a good continuation of the Spider-Gwen story.

So disappointing
This was so disappointing. The only part of the book that I truly had no problems with was the Wolverine Annual and that's not even Gwen's book! Editorially, this is terrible. Only two issues from the series and two annuals. The All-New Wolverine Annual was great. It was a fantastic team-up story of two characters who wouldn't normally team-up. Loved it. The other annual had a handful of stories, none that mattered or will be remembered. Also, the art was pretty atrocious. The two issues of the Spider-Gwen series were shackled with subpar art and barely moved the story along. The entire book seemed like filler before next volume's big crossover. Overall, a giant step in the wrong direction.

Great book
I absolutely love spider-gwen, both the book and the character. This one was not my favorite book in the series, but is in no way bad. I would definitely recommend this, as long as you have the previous books of course.

If You Are Looking For a Coherent Story, Keep Moving
Alright, let's be honest. This volume was going to be bad from the get go. First of all, it's a mixed bag. There's two issues that are a part of the main story line and two annuals. The issues themselves are by no means bad, but they are not very satisfying by themselves. The jarring art difference between Rodriguez's slick and highly stylized world with Chris Vision's more gritty approach are dizzying at best. I had to doubleback to make sure that I was in the same issue. This is only furthered by the annual that instead of encompassing one story decides to tackle 5 different short stories within 30 pages. While a lot of them are not necessarily bad, a few of them are quite uninteresting and I found myself skimming through them. The Wolverine annual is cute, but ultimately uninteresting. All in all, it is an average story that I regret buying except for the bigger focus on Matt Murdock as the Kingpin.

Spider-Gwen Vol. 3
This volume starts off with Thanksgiving & Chief Stacy is in jail. Gwen get Matt Murdock aka Daredevil to represent him in court. In the mean time it's dinner at May Parker's house & a visit from Jessica Drew.

Not as good as a read that does not advance the story very far and attempts to make up for it by stuffing it up with filler.
In the last comic, Gwen's powers were stripped from her by Cindy-65 and agent Jesse Drew of SHIELD gave her some isotopes that will give her her powers, but she only has so many. Frank Castle has figured out who she is and Gwen's father is arrested for aiding and abetting Spider-Gwen. Pushed into a corner, Gwen takes the offer from the Kingpin of Crime, Matt Murdoch to defend her father and get him out of this mess--for a price. At Thanksgiving time, Aunt Mae lets Gwen know that she knows she is Spider-Gwen and that she supports her. Gwen spends the holiday with Spiderwoman and her husband and child. Later at Christmas, she encounters ninja fighters on the rooftop and must use one of her isotopes. Who sent them and why? This book also includes two dossiers on Aunt Mae and S.I.L.K., the Spider-Gwen Annual #1 which takes place right when she has gotten her powers and decides to use them in the wrestling ring fighting She-Hulk, a Captain America with Sam, The Watcher, a week in the life of Gwen, and an all-new Wolverine Annual #1. While it seems jammed packed, the storyline is a little skimpy, but then it only includes issues #14 and #15. I found the art lacking a bit in some of #14 especially with the drawing of Spiderwoman. But overall the art was good. I can only half-heartedly recommend this book. It could have been better. Hopefully, the next book will be an improvement.

Still good
There were some weird stories in this volume. That's okay by me. I like weird. But, there was only one cohesive storyline for this volume, making it more of a collection or anthology.

More Spider-Gwen is Always a Good Decision
It's Spider-Gwen. Volume 3 has pages of filler artists which serve good purpose to see how the title will stack up once (Spoiler?) artist and co-creator Robbi Rodriguez leaves the title, and if this Volume has any indication, it looks like Gwen Stacy of Earth-65 will do just fine. Are you looking for a ton of pages? I recommend waiting for the deluxe hardcover editions. New to Spider-Gwen? Check out Volume 0, labelled "Spider-Gwen: Most Wanted?"Otherwise, it's Spider-Gwen. She's awesome, annual issues and Wolverine crossovers and all. What are you waiting for?

Three Stars
Pretty sure I've read most of the issues in this in a previous trade paperback?

Wolverine saves the day ! (mais avant c'était vraiment pas terrible...)
Ce tome est sauvé de justesse par le Wolverine Annual qui le clôture. Parce que les 2 premiers tiers sont évitables dont une bonne partie illustrée par des dessins franchement laids ...
