Do not use for japa or meditation
It is virtually impossible to use this rosary for meditation since the beads are strung so close together. I had to buy another one

Sphatik Mala Broken in one day
I received this sphatik mala I wear this mala after one day it’s broke and some of bead is also damaged.I am really disappointed with this product.I hope seller understand value of our money.I am really disappointed.

MAY not be original?
Bought it from Arihant Gems & Jewels. Came nicely packed in a plastic box, the size of visiting cards. Can easily carry it. There is a certificate along with it from some GJSPC, a gem testing laboratory. There are several such laboratories in India and I am not sure if they are regulated by govt and their certificate carries any weight. After all, the seller is their client too. If you go to GJSPC website, you can view the certificate online too. Amazon lists the weight as 150gms, however GJSP certificate mentions 69.783g. Also the web site mentions bead size as 9mm whereas certificate mentions it as 7.5mm. Otherwise the quality of mala is ok. Not sure if you can sleep wearing it. The quality of tassel (bunch of red threads) is not good, may not last long. Count of beads is as published - 108+1. As far as "originality" is concerned, apart from the certificate, I do find the beads being "cool". However, when I rub them together, there is no spark, light, flash as explained in many youtube videos. So, the originality is a question

If you are looking for real spatik mala.. go for this...
I bought this for my mom... she uses everyday for pooja and chanting... i was really worried whether I would be cheated with a fake one... Once I recently the product, I tested for spark by rubbing it... yes it did show signs of spark... worth a buy...
