I got this today and set it up immediately because my washing had been rained on for about 10 minutes before I noticed. And that's what I wanted it for. (Lovely summer we're having...) It dried two damp sheets and four pillowcases in under 30 minutes. The cover was a helpful addition. It gives off a gentle heat. It's like an assist to a normal airer, it's not a stand up radiator. Don't expect it to dry very wet washing. If it could do that it would be a fire hazard. A set up note for anyone like me who needs really detailed instructions - it's two clips per end, not all four on one side then wondering why it won't stand up! Good value for money and nice and lightweight, easy to store.

Living in a small London flat, I am using the dryer to save electricity by not using my tumble dryer except for towels. I do not have space to hang a lot of items to dry, and this is the perfect solution in the winter - I have a similar non-heating airer which is fine in the summer. It is not quick, but it drys well when the cover is on and also gives out some heat which helps to keep my flat warm in the current cold snap. It folds down easily for storage and fits in one of my cupboards. So far I am very happy with it - definitely a good buy. Electricity consumption is low, according to my smart meter.

I bought this product because it came with a special cover which is supposed to aid the drying/airing process. It looked like a good alternative to a standard clothes horse as it had heated rails but unfortunately only dries the area resting directly on the rail. where The rest of the garments stay damp. The cover is too small and does not fit over the airer as shown in the product photo, therefore not of any help whatsoever The frame is flimsy and unstable when loading washing onto it. You cant hang anything off it on a hangar as its far to low and so your garments rest halfway onto the floor If you attempt to put anything slightly heavier onto the frame its unstable and your other items drop off with the movement. This was not a cheap item and its not fit for purpose

Not very robust, which is to be fair, because it is designed to be collapsed for storage. Only problem is warm clothes on what appears to be a convenient surface is a cat magnet. Luckily moggies have learnt to hop up gently now, having sent it flying several times.... So maybe not perfect for cat owners (although the cats love it...). The problem drying stuff is only the very top levels heat up on the long table like shape, so you do need to move stuff around a lot, anything hanging down is not going to get warm. However cheap to run, leaks enough heat to slightly warm a small room while part drying clothes, and down a good enough job that part dried clothes only need a cold "puff" in the tumble dryer. Don't over fill though, or the damp smell will knock yer socks off!

I first bought one of these from a big supermarket for £80 4 years ago. I had to replace it this year due to the switch needing to replaced. I bought this, but was sceptical due to the price. This item is just as good as my previous one. Keeps the heat and drys the clothes quickly and efficiently. It even heats a smaller room whilst on. There's enough space to put a full load on there. The cover was a bonus that I wasn't expecting! The cover makes a huge difference, and ensures the clothes dry quicker and thoroughly. Also the clothes aren't all on display for everyone to see. Overall I can't find any issue with the item, and it matches the quality of the heaters sold in major UK retailers.

The Rainberg is fantastic it will dry my washing very quickly. If it was just a clothes horse it would still be a great dryer but as the rails are heated, it will be far more quicker. Sadly the delivery was left Outside my building but I shouldn't moan he could have left it in the high street

The bars are very close together on this dryer. Not sure it would take too many heavy items. There is only 2 of us so this isn't a problem but you can only use every other rail otherwise nothing will dry very quickly. Useless for a family. Once you put it together it won't fold up unless you unclipped every time you put it away and I think the clips will break that's why I only gave 3 stars for easy to assemble as its easy to put together but not to fold away

On the description it says it comes with a cover. It doesn't. you have to pay extra for it. misleading.
