- Tested with iPhone 14 Pro - Pairs easily with phone, haven't tried its 2-phone capability. Very easy to set up an use. - Speakerphone totally rejects background sound even with car windows open and produces no voice dropouts even under severe background conditions. The parties I talk to are very thankful for this; they have long been annoyed by the background sound and dropouts with several other speakerphones I have used including the phone's built-in speakerphone and my Bluetooth 2-way speakerphone hearing aids. Part of the key to this good performance is probably the microphone being so near my mouth, since the unit is mounted on the car visor. - The built-in speaker is as good as an inexpensive small speaker is expected to be; being very near the driver's ears helps it to work without having to be turned up to distortion level. - The FM radio link is as good as FM radio links can be, i.e. there is some hiss and crackle but on the whole, with my fairly good quality car speakers, the speakerphone and music streaming sound over them is much better than the Roadtrip built-in speaker. - The button is very convenient for answering, rejecting, and ending calls and redialing, and for initiating Siri commands. But with the microphone so near my face I don't have to speak Siri very loud anyway, unless I have the speaker or car radio speakers playing loudly. - This is the only visor-mounted product I have found that both streams audio via Bluetooth and acts as a speakerphone, and it works very well. - Allows different phone apps to selectively use it, e.g. I can stream music over my hearing aids and use Roadtrip as my speakerphone. So do I have any complaints? Only some slight ones: - The unit is a little heavy, you might need to tighten the hinge on our visor to keep the visor from sagging, or add velcro to hold the visor up. - I am tall and was annoyed by the unit being mounted on the visor, particularly when getting in the car while wearing a hat. So I used velcro to mount it on the ceiling above the rear-view mirror. I have not tested its microphone pickup and background canceling performance in this configuration yet.

I have an older car (2005 BMW) and I’ve been looking for a solution to play my music and listen to audiobooks. I went to a couple of Mobile audio shops and they didn’t have a solution under few hundred dollars. One shop wanted to charge over $2000 to redo my entire system. This is a simple, easy hands-free, cordless, trouble free solution to connect my smart phone to my car speakers. I am now able to listen to satellite radio, audiobooks and even hands-free phone calls. All, without breaking the bank. The most difficult thing is finding a radio station that is compatible. With just a little time and patience, I was able to connect a trouble free system that sounds pretty damn good.

No directions needed. Battery was charged when I pulled it out of the box. My phone immediately connected to it. First time using it, played music straight from the unit. Sound is ok for what it is. Second time using, tried the FM transmitter. Selected a frequency and my work truck picked it right up. When I got out of the truck, I left the unit on. When I returned and started the truck, music instantly played from the truck speakers. There is slight static in the speakers at very low volume. Highly recommend it for those with older vehicles that can't connect directly to their vehicle sound system. I'd give it 5 Stars (and probably should) if it weren't for the static. But I don't know, never used an FM transmitter before. Might just be normal. Again, I want to emphasize you could only hear the static at low volume.

...wireless FM transmitters in my time to connect myriad devices to my vehicles, and this is without a doubt the best one of those I have had experience with. Pair with your phone, then "pair" with your radio by matching FM frequencies, and you're in business--you've got a hands-free way to talk on your phone, and a way to get your streaming thru your car radio if you don't have Bluetooth capability built-in to the vehicle. Typically, devices like this provide weak and spotty connection thru the FM range, and require frequent movement to different frequencies to avoid radio interference. On the contrary, this guy will provide crisp, clear connections in a crowded metropolitan radio space (unless you're getting close to the transmitter), let alone in the country away from strong signals. The integrated mic works well enough to use as a hand-free phone solution, and the enclosed charging cable is simple and unobstructed. The integrated speakers do work, but you probably won't use them unless your car's speakers are absolute trash. I don't use 'em. I have used this product pretty much every day for over a year, and it is still doing its thing. Recommended.

This hands-free set is great for road navigation and hearing calls. However, the mic quality needs to be improved as it comes across as quiet and muddy to the person on the other end of a call.

I bought one and used it for a short time and it developed an issue with the bluetooth where it would whine over the radio, so I contacted Avantree and they sent me a new one free of charge. No issues with this one at all. Provides clear audio (as clear as FM can be), turns on when I need it to, and sometimes when I don't want it to (make sure it won't detect movement outside of the car), and even tells you when the battery is low. It also has a changeable battery in case the battery completely depletes. It is rechargeable, but it's nice to not have to create ewaste.

It worked for about 6 months of typical use and then started clipping the sound. Basically, anything audible made a loud clicking sound regardless of whether it was putting bluetooth to speaker, or to FM. I would look for something better, or at least something 1/5 the cost. Beware the reviews that are based on short-term experience.

Amazing hands free. Connect to Vehicle radio with ease. Automatically connect to my phone upon entry of my vehicle. Set up a super easy. Some quality is clear charges quickly. Will be buying another.

Recently purchased my speaker, and I am very happy how easy it was to install and upload to my phone. Much easier to hear the music and phone calls. Simple yet effective 👌 ✨️

Easy setup. Only 2 hours to fully charge. Paired very easily. FM broadcast works well once you find a compatible FM frequency. Turned my 16 year old car into an almost modern vehicle where I can easily use my existing Spotify account through my car radio system via this new acquisition. Good volume. The auto off/on capability works well. I highly recommend this device.

Ich habe mir die Freisprecheinrichtung ohne echte Hoffnungen gekauft. In meiner A Klasse hatte ich eine vom Werk her eingebaute Freisprecheinrichtung , die recht gut funktionierte, ich bin also verwöhnt. Jetzt habe ich ein anderes Auto und Ersatz musste her. Als erstes fiel mir die sehr übersichtliche, in gutem Deutsch geschriebene, Anleitung positiv auf. Das Koppeln mit dem Telefon war ganz einfach und hat sofort funktioniert. Die Testtelefonate waren sehr gut zu verstehen, auch auf Kopfsteinpflaster und mit laufendem Radio. Der Klang ist etwas blechern. Anschließend habe ich eine FM Verbindung mit dem Radio hergestellt. Die Musik auf meinem Handy kann ich so über die Autolautsprecher hören. Richtig klasse ist aber, dass ich so auch den Anruf über die Autolautsprecher tätigen kann. Der Klang hängt dann von dem Autolautsprechern ab. Mein Gesprächspartner hat mich genauso gut verstanden, wie ich ihn. Sehr praktisch ist auch die Wahlwiederholung. Dazu braucht man nur 2x auf die Taste mit dem Telefonsymbol drücken. Ich bin wirklich begeistert und finde den Preis von knapp 60 € sehr korrekt. Wenn man die Roadtrip Freisprechanlage beim Hersteller registrieren lässt, bekommt man eine Verlängerung der Garantie auf 24 Monate gratis.
