Almost no complaints!
Great sound quality! You're able to use it while it's charging and even use it wired if you want! (If you want the least lag possible, you should use it wired, but I only notice the lag when playing Osu and not when I'm playing competitive shooters.) So it's definitely a good value for what you pay for. I wish the cord for wired listening was just a bit longer, but it's a comfortable length to move around at my desk since my PC sits very close to me. You can control the volume from the side and pause and play music by pressing the on/off button once quickly. The headphones turn facing upward so you can still hear your audio when you take them off (only if it's loud enough). It's not noise canceling, but it suppresses background noise very well. I don't hear much at all when their on, especially with game or music on. I do wish the ear cups were just slightly deeper, but the Barracuda X version does if that's what you're looking for. But that's not a downside for everyone. For me, I don't have any discomfort wearing them for long periods of time, even with them being shallow, because they are padded inside very nicely.

Avoid Razer Products. Go elsewhere
To write a fair review I'll start with all the good qualities first. Pros: 1) Sound quality is great on pc when THX audio is activated on the app. The surround sound is great. Okay, that's it, that's the only pro Cons : 1) mobile sound quality is bad. Bluetooth quality is not good. Why? Because of false advertising from Razer. Razer claims THX audio is on this device BUT it's NOT available on the mobile app for Apple or Android via Bluetooth. This is extremely misleading. You only get the all the functions of the headset on desktop with the USB c dongle 2) Build quality is terrible. I have not dropped the headset one time and I have two chips in the plastic. I believe the headset has quality control issues on the ear cups. The ear cups can swivel which can lead to the plastic slightly rubbing causing wear to happen. 3) Razer software is a corporate boardroom disaster. What do I mean? Their desktop app is filled with excess bloatware and advertising. Instantly trying to already advertise more Razer products before I even turned on the headset. It's truly awful. Turtle Beach and Steelseries apps are not like this. 4) Razer support. They dance around actually helping you. I have two tickets with them about the issues listed above. I've registered the headset on their app for their warranty which requires proof of purchase from Amazon. I've uploaded a jpeg of the receipt showing itemized details. I've uploaded the serial number and product number to my Razer profile. This is all required to successfully register the headset. The support reps constantly ask for uncorrelated information to dance around actually helping you. Such as asking for the serial number of their product. That information is in my profile with them. You provide it to them then they ask for proof of purchase. I said that's in my profile as well. Then the rep said a jpeg isn't good enough, they want a pdf instead even though they approved the jpeg image of the Amazon receipt. They close the tickets of you don't respond to their question in 48-72 hrs. And then you have to start all over. It's crazy. I'll never buy a Razer product ever again in my life. Too many other great companies out there and competition. Wasted money.

Great set of headphones for a casual listener
These headphones are good looking, high quality, and overall great for the casual listener. I've had them for about a few years now, and they still look and work like brand new. Razer is a good brand for computer accessories like this, but I understand they are not *the* best objectively. The audio quality isn't that bass-y, so if you want bass or you are an audiophile then I'd look elsewhere. Also, they are comfortable but not comfortable enough to wear for hours on end. As someone who uses headphones every now and then, they work just fine and have lasted me a long time. Overall, worth the purchase if you're not a complete audiophile.

Great Razer sound/Poor Razer Quality
I just want to preface that Razer products are great... until they are not. They are made cheaply so they NEVER last. I have owned well over a dozen other products... and they all eventually fail. Higher cost does not equal better quality... just more options or power. These headphones feel and perform wonderfully. Sound is great, all of the external features like volume dial and buttons work and feel great. Never had any issues there. I would say that the volume knob should be moved further up the edge of the cup as sometimes my shoulders drag the volume knob. The cup cushions feel great and prevents sweating from prolonged usage. Headband is comfortable and easily adjustable. Now to the bad. I have only owned them for around 8 months... and while pulling the head phones off of my head, (I was not rough with it) the edge of the casing around the band shattered. I don't mean a piece of the corner came off... I mean it damn near exploded into pieces. No idea why. It seems the backpart of the casing of the inner side of the headband below the padding... it somehow came loose and it binded up with the ear cup and shattered all of the corners off along with taking off a big chunk of the band. Not sure how in the heck this would happen unless whatever cheap glue (or lack thereof) finally gave out and you know the rest. I have yet to ever buy a headphone or pair of earbuds that will last more than about a year. Overall... these are great headphones when they are working and the band is not busy breaking to pieces unexplainably. I paid $130... so I had much higher expectations than them coming apart after 8 months. So use this info as you see fit... but treat them very gently and they may last longer than they did for me.

So far so good.
Recently got a gaming laptop so I decided to get a headset and mouse for it. Razer was what I landed on. It's a real hate and love relationship with Razer. I don't really like their software because the last time I tried logging into Synapse, it kept kicking me out and just not working. And Synapse is almost completely necessary to use Razer hardware to their fullest. Why did I come back though? Their products are always perfectly in between being cheap/affordable and ultra-quality/overpriced. I mean, $100 for a wireless headset that's both bluetooth and 2.4hz? I'll be honest and say I thought the Barracuda X (2.4hz Connection Only) was the only Barracuda they sold. Grabbed this the second I realized it was both and now I have 3 wireless headphones sitting in my room... Of the three, it's definitely the less quality sounding one but that's saying it without context. The best one I have is Sony's $350 WH1000XM4 (why cant you call it something normal Sony), followed by Corsair's HS70 Pro. Now, sure the HS70 Pro has a comparable price (Assuming they remain around $90-100 )and it might sound a bit better, but then you factor in the aspects of each of these headphones, price, comfort, features, the Barracuda comes out pretty good. If I stuck to my old headsets, I would need the Sony pair for my phone and I would need the Corsair pair for my laptop while on the go. With the Barracuda, I get rid of one extra pair of headphones. It's comfortable, sounds pretty good and fits my needs perfectly. Assuming Synapse doesn't start acting up again, I'm happy with what I have and I might make a full return to Razer products.

Terrible quality mic
First of all this headset has an internal microphone which sounds worse than my 2008 Honda microphone in my car while the barracuda X has a external one that plugs into the bottom of the headset and that headset is cheaper than this one, so if you plan on using this headset make sure you either buy an external mic that you can plug into your PC or everybody you talk to will be saying “what did you say?” to everything you say and I tried to buy the mic that comes with the barracuda x and that didn’t work at all either so don’t waste your time. Second of all the headset broke three months after I bought it when I went to take it off I spun the ear parts towards the middle and the left one snapped right off with no effort at all so it’s barely holding itself together. Lastly the only good thing I can say about this thing is that sound quality was pretty good but definitely would never recommend paying full price I paid $60 for this headset and I was not happy with at all.

I really wanted to like these headphones.
I have had these for about a year so here is a completely honest review from a guy that does not care a ton about sound quality, but just wanted a good bang for your buck. I purchased these for $75 in Feb 2023. The previous headphones I had were wired HyperX Cloud 2. I bought this headset because I wanted an all wireless and white set up. A year later, this is what I deal with on a semi-regular basis. - Constant disconnects, whenever I play a game, sometimes the headphones drop connection, and I have to turn the headset off and then power it back on. - Volume sticks, sometimes if I have them on for a while, the headset will be stuck at a constant volume regardless of what the volume is on the pc, even if it is muted. - Reinsert wireless adapter, if you turn your computer off every night and back on the next morning, you will likely have to crawl under your desk and disconnect and reconnect the USBC wireless adapter. This defeats the whole purpose of a wireless set up. - Mic bad quality, the mic is horrible quality, I didn't super care about mic quality, but sometimes when speaking my friends can't understand what I'm saying, it just sounds like a garbled robotic mess. - Sound quality is decent, when the headphones are working, the sound quality is excellent. The problem is random times it seems that certain pitches blow out the speakers and you hear the common cackling of the speakers. I really wanted to like these headphones, I have had many positive experiences with Razer keyboards, but I just can't in my good conscience recommend this headset. I personally would recommend you choose another product at this price point.

Excellent with a little TLC
Too many negative reviews for these. Just need a little tweaking. Razer synapse 4 has been out for some time and is what you should use to run these headphones with THX Spatial Audio right in the app when the headphones are on and connected to 2.4ghz (not bluetooth) app won't pick them up then. Sound is clear and more robust than the Razer Barracuda X, thougth that is an excellent pair of headphones as well. Bluetooth does not seem to work with some games but does work well with streaming video and music. If you have the Standalone THX Spatial App installed from a previious headphone set, it is not necessary unless you are using bluetooth, (but again has trouble in some games with sounds) I found that not using bluetooth at all (never getting it paired at all works best (no disconnects without bluetooth) tends to want to change to bluetooth if not. Otherwise these sound magnificent on 2.4ghz THX Spatial Game Mode in Games and changing settings in the Razer Synapse 4 app if you are using for streaming video, movies, or music. Hope this helps. Razer makes excellent products, just this one needs just a little TLC to get them to fit your style.

Fantastic!
Somehow one of the cheapest headphones I've bought have been my best purchase. Outstanding quality for the price, very long battery life. The mic is not bad although I do find myself losing it thats more of a me problem. The razer app is also relatively intuitive and easy to install. Although not necessary at all if you don't want to customise and fine tune your headphones.

He had these for almost a year now
Best headphones ever idc. After turning on thx and adjusting the EQ these are loud, have a really punchy bass and are clear. Not gonna go all technical but for a wireless headset you can’t go wrong. one thing I changed however is the cloth ear pads for leather ones and for stock you’d need the pros unfortunately but the leather ones are a cheap replacement.

These are junk and Razer doesnt cover their product's normal wear.
I've had these for all of 9 months and they are falling apart really badly. I have had to tape the things together... I haven't dropped them or anything and they are literally having pieces fall off. This is hands down the worst headset I've ever owned. Sound Quality is pretty mid and the mic is terrible on top of this. The only thing this headset has going for it is that its wireless. Battery Life is about the same as any other wireless headset. I reached out to Razer about getting it replaced and they said their warranty doesn't cover the product falling apart of its own crap build quality. DO NOT BUY!!!
