I keep this in my bag and it’s a lifesaver. The smell does not linger on my kids and keeps us semi-sane when the bugs come out at baseball practice. Not 100% effective but is anything??

They are effective and not smelly and oily like other products, however keeps bugs away, so it is as advertised and I am even purchasing it more. The whole family uses them. Recommend.

This insect repellent works great and feels much lighter on the skin compared to other sprays I’ve tried. I like that it’s fragrance free and doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy feeling. It provides good protection and is easy to apply. Perfect for outdoor activities. It came in with a little dent.

The mosquitoes in South Carolina are a problem for me every year. I'm really allergic and each bite is an itchy bump for almost two weeks. Deet products work effectively on my skin, but I cannot stand the smell or feel. Essential oil combos/homeopathic/whatever does not do anything to protect me even though they smell so good and feel fine. *THIS* product is the perfect solution!!! I have used this for 3 years now. I'd never heard of Picaridin until traveling to Argentina (during a bad mosquito hatch) and buying their "Off! Bebe Repelente" (mosquito repellent gel for babies). It isn't for sale in the U.S. but I found the "Clean Feel" line available here. Weirdly, the package designs are almost identical. Both products use Picaridin 20%, but I couldn't find the gel version I loved so much in Argentina. This aerosol is the closest I've come and I would highly recommend. Incredibly effective, no horrible smell, and the product residue/greasiness is barely noticeable. I mean, it is bug spray after all so it's not gonna feel like your skin right out of the shower. I have tried some deet products that advertise being non-greasy, and those do in fact feel more powdery dry than this picaridin aerosol. But, some might not like the powdery dry feeling either. Great product and I hope they never discontinue it.

I’m in my late 50’s and ever since my earliest childhood days, I have always been subjected to relentless torment from the vicious blood sucking mosquitoes. I am semi allergic to them also, so I end up with high vis welts that inch like nothing of this world. During my US Army infantryman days, I would lather Deet all over my body to keep ticks, chiggers and especially vampire mosquitoes (can you tell I hate mosquitoes lol) from consuming me while out in the field. As times gone by, I started to worry about the potential effects of Deet usage and started to use Picaridin. I started with using the Sawyer brand, but like most insect repellents in liquid form, I hate the hand application and the oily feel. Plus, the original Sawyer brand version seemed to run off more easily after sweating a little. Now comes this Johnson Off! brand version, which sprays on easily and dries quickly without making a mess. It pretty much goes on like their Off smooth & dry Deet repellent. I am a happy “camper” and last summer not one mosquito bite while using this one. Just be mindful that Picaridin, even though it’s very effective against flying insects, is not 100% with ticks. So if you go where predatory ticks hide to ambush you, I would still use a Deet repellent or treat your outerwear clothing with Permethrin. I use Permethrin on my outer clothes and gear to keep the evil ticks and chiggers away from my bod…let’s be safe out there!

A bug spray that’s light and doesn’t smell and actually works to keep the bugs away! It has worked in the jungles of Cost Rica and the Dominican Republic.

Does a very good job repelling all insects (except sweat bees which I haven't found anything that repels those annoying things) all while not leaving your skin feeling heavy or sticky. Sprays well at all angles even when running low, and has very fine mist with wide application width for full even coverage. This is honestly the first and only repellent that works (buggins does work better for gnats at least but still leaves your skin very sticky), and will feels like you haven't put anything on it's that clean feeling. Absolutely amazing.
