If you are taking HCL to help digest your food this works as well as some higher priced products. This HCL does not have pepsin in it though. My husband can't handle much pepsin. I need more pepsin so I take a different brand. It's a good value for the money and easy to swallow.

I have been having a lot of problems with heartburn. I guess it is because I'm getting old. I tried a lot of anti-acids and other products to reduce acid, but the heartburn issues continued. I decided to do a little research on the subject, because I was tired of having the problems every day. I found this guy, named Dr. Berg, on Youtube who has many videos on the subject. He often suggests trying Bentaine HCL along with some other supplements to help alleviate issues with chronic heartburn. It seems counter intuitive to take something acidic to heal a problem with heartburn, but he explained the process well on why it works. I gave the suggestion a try with these supplements and it did wonders. I am finally free of feeling ill every day right after I eat. I no longer get heartburn and I am so pleased with this product. What a blessing to have these on hand. They are probably saving me from getting GERD.

I put it in my mouth and it has a plastic smell emanating from it. Update: their CS notified me of a refund which I did not ask for. It seems their support team are appreciative of feedbacks. It might have been a bad batch, I'll retry.

It works but Its a much lower strength in each dose than what was advertised (560mg) . You have to take more pill to meet the optimal dose. Which defeats the purpose. I have to take 7-8 pills with one meal just to meet optimal dose and I think that is just wrong. I don’t mind paying a little more for the actual dosage or a higher strength than the one in one pill preferable around 1.5 grams per pill. I JUST WANTED RELIEF and I feel scammed and robbed to be honest. Love that there’s no additive and it works, hate that I now have to take ridiculous amount of pills to meet optimal dosage. Makes me wonder if all the contents in the pill is actually betaine HCL as advertised or if it’s just a portion of it that’s actually Betaine HCL. This worries me.
