Wilton Columbian C-Clamp, 2" Opening, 2-1/4" Throat, 3500 Lbs. Clamping Force (Model H402)

I work with metal. Cutting, welding, fabricating. I needed another clamp (I have 7 c clamps already).This Wilton columbian, is by far the best of all. It is heavy. If you desire quality. You will be impressed. This clamp is drop forged which is far superior to a cast c clamp.

I used this to clamp on a concrete slab that had subsided. I used a two ton farm jack and chain to lift it. No problem. no sign of fatigue. Pretty sure the chain I used would fail first (chain used to anchor cars on flat bed)

Wilton quality. Works well for compressing truck brake calipers. So far I’ve tried it on ford and Ram 2500s and fits well. I’ve been able to compress the caliper pistons without much effort so it’s worked well for my intended purpose.

Works as great as all Wilton clamps do !!!!!

Lil disappointed like every thing else these day usa design made else where and bit pricey but for my need it will work and time will tell if it made of any quality

If you are a professional in the iron/ metal working industry These are the clamps you need to buy/ work with! I began working in industry in the 1970s and 80s and these rival the quality of tools that were available to us back then. Solid, over 4” deep and acme thrd clamping rod exceeds 3/4” dia.
