Good puberty book for a preteen
Halfway through the book, great for preteen and teen girls. Nice to have a glossary in the back and lot of information with pictures and details to understand puberty. Reading it to a 10-year-old.

don't buy if you have celebrate your body
We have already Celebrate your body and this book is just a part about period. Celebrate your body is more complete. Still, I love the way these books are written, with positive way about puberty.

Useful information
Have it to my nine year old granddaughter. I don't think she read it. I glanced through it and thought that it had a lot of useful information.

I wish I had books like these when I was a kid!
These books are wonderful! We have both puberty books (celebrate your body, growing up great), celebrate your feelings book, and body boundaries & consent book so I had to get this one when I saw it. My kids read these often and it makes them feel more comfortable asking questions and having conversations about puberty changes. My daughter started reading these when she was 7 and my son started reading them at 7. My kids enjoy reading both the male and female books because they want to learn about both. This period book is a great companion to the celebrate your body book.

very helpful for information for preteens and teens
I bought it for my niece. She found the information very educational, and she felt more confident about the changes that would happen to her body and was prepared for them. She shared the info with my nephew, and he has a better understanding of what females are going through. Education is power
