There’s not a lot to dislike about these boxer shorts, particularly if you prefer the less clingy and exponentially cooler layer that this bamboo boxer short embodies. They even fold into a smaller space that sparks a lot of joy when it comes down space and laundry efficiencies. Style-wise, the waist band also knocks it out of the park … I’ve been looking for a greener sustainable alternative to 100% cotton and cotton blend boxers and so far, these David Archy bamboo boxers include a waist band that excels in functionality and appearance. The high-end contrast brand lettering and the color palette of these boxers highlight the sophistication that this brand brings to the bamboo boxer short arena. And there are notable differences among the brands; one brand’s waist band is derived by continued use of the fabric over the top of the boxer short and stitching the fabric to create a hollow fabric hem at the top of the boxer short. Structure for the waist band is achieved by inserting what I’m assuming is a thin durable plastic liner goes around the waist of the waist band. Unfortunately, after a few washes, the insert does not stay flat but folds over. This didn’t happen with every pair, but rather with a couple. Aesthetically, the fabric hem is also not very appealing to me. Another brand includes a brand logo front and center on the waist band; the logo may be going for humor, and we can all use more humor and fewer occasions where we have to be so serious. The waist band logo might result in some knee jerk rejections, which is too bad because this line of boxer shorts are pretty excellent. I’ll just let you draw your own inferences … if I’m going to the gym or fitness club and am changing back into my work or after work clothes, the David Archy expresses an appreciation of style. Mothers have given us the same advice time and time again: don’t get caught during an emergency in anything other than a clean pair of boxer shorts … this sentiment probably needs to be updated. There are unexpected situations where maybe a doctor or nurse is going to be looking at your boxers, and you won’t want them to be distracted by goofy underpants. As a final observation, as a ‘caring consumer,’ I read the labels, and note that different brands have different percentages of sustainable bamboo rayon in the fabric and cost variation among brands is broader than what I might have thought. A little further down the line, I will follow up on other bamboo boxer shorts and short brands; I had wanted to cover comparability after weeks of wear and washing/ drying care cycles. Unfortunately, there was delay in the delivery of the David Archy boxers, and I haven’t worn each pair multiple times which would be necessary in order to discuss and compare things like color, fit, and elasticity retention, if and when the boxer shorts show wear to hems and fabric pilling, for example.

Great boxers. I’m 6’5” 220 athletic build. Bought a XL. They fit nicely and just a tad loose the way I wanted them to fit. They feel great. Breezy. You can wear them to work or around the house. I still prefer briefs for workouts but these support every other outing.

These bamboo rayon boxers are very soft, lightweight, and breathable. The relaxed fit provides plenty of room without feeling baggy, and the fabric stays cool and comfortable throughout the day. The waistband is comfortable, the button fly works well, and the material feels high quality after washing. Overall, these are a great choice if you’re looking for comfortable everyday boxers with excellent breathability.

Great House Shorts Undergarment for my husband so that he can wear it comfortably and lesiurely lounge around the house without embarrassment. Your delivery came at the right time - Hawaii's weather is getting very humid - he finds it very comfortable and roomy, not restraining. He now can throw his comfortable T-Shirt over this David Archy loose underwear shorts to take out the trash or sit relaxing outside of our front porch reading his book/newspaper! The material is light not heavy compare to wearing canvas shorts; although, if he's going to public places, he must wear regular shorts. It's worth the purchase!

I don't like giving these a "4", but I have to be honest. Everything about these briefs I would rate a 5, except the waist band. They're soft, comfortable and fit well. Everything I would want in a relaxed fit brief. However, the waist band is light weight, to the point of it "rolling" up as the day wears on. This is true, especially if you are little thick in your midrift area. (However, I'm 6' 2" and 195 lbs and they still roll on me a little.) The price, however, was great... but I would have been willing to pay a little more, should the David Archy company elect to make that one little upgrade. Thanks for reading!

Love these. Have been looking for a replacement for my Perry Ellis underwear for a long time. Often hard to find XXL. I actually size in at an XL by the size chart but I prefer a somewhat looser fi especially for sleeping. I'm 6' 220 lbs, fit and I did not find the XXL too large at all. Nice fabric. Medium tension waist band. Will buy again

I bought these for my boyfriend, and they’ve quickly become his favorite pair. The fabric is incredibly soft and lightweight, and he says they’re much more comfortable than the cotton boxers he usually wears. They stay in place throughout the day without riding up, and the waistband is snug without feeling too tight. After several washes, they’ve kept their shape and softness without shrinking or fading, which was something I was a little concerned about with modal fabric. The stitching also seems well done, and they still look new. Overall, these feel like a noticeable upgrade from basic underwear. I’d definitely buy another pack when it’s time to replace the older ones.

Husband loves these boxers. This is the second time I’ve ordered them for him and imagine more purchases in the future ! They are light weight, without being too thin, and very soft. Good product!

Material is soft, but feels durable. Extremely consistent stitching quality. Comfy to wear while doing physical work.

Lightweight, finely knit material which drapes naturally. Flat-felled seams and waistband make you feel like you are wearing nada--breezy. This is a departure from the hugging fit and robust seams and waistbands that characterize a lot of cotton briefs. True enough, I do not wear tight jeans, so the waist did not roll nor fabric bunch. Sizing info was helpful when I ordered, but the boxer trunks are so accommodating that I probably could move down to Med from the Large. Washed in cold, but dried in hot, no problems. One of the most satisfying purchases I've made in a long while.
