This is a near replica Holbein which is now unobtainable. These palettes are wonderful. Light yet reasonably sturdy. Thumb hole so you can paint outdoors with them. The paint somehow mixes and remains on the metal much better than on plastic or ceramic palettes. I now have 5 of them in different sizes. I think the original Holbeins were sturdier but 3 times this price. So buy 3 !!! I was amazed at how much easier it is to mix paints on metal. A revelation. Marvellous

Perfect for purpose! A neat, lightweight watercolour travel box with 26 small wells to create my own choice of tube colours in. I can have one side for my preferred earthy colours for landscapes and a cooler palette to suit seascapes. Quality seems good, fits neatly into art travel bag, so very pleased.
