Hi dear customer, great question! The GX99 UF system features with 0.01 micron filtration precision, while RO systems features with 0.0001 micron filtration precision. However, UF system does NOT require power to work and does NOT produce waste water, while some RO systems requires electricity and all RO systems will produce waste water.
