Q: Is this yarn made out of organic cotton?

I'm not sure. According to the wrapping it is "eco friendly", "recyclable", "cotton", and "made in Ukraine". I used it to make a purse so being organic didn't factor.

Q: What size yarn is this? I'm looking for t-shirt yarn size 5.

Bobilon Medium 7-9 mm yarn has width 3.5 cm / 1.37 in, needles size 8-11, so I think it should work for you.

Q: Can this be machine washed?

Absolutely! I made a pair of slippers. I have washed them a couple of times. Washes well. Retains color will. I air dry only.

Q: The last picture of color choice is reddish but "yellow" pops up for color name. If I order, will I get the color in picture or a yellow color?
