Einfach top

Super value and a breeze to install
The ease of installation was awesome , has a pigtail to allow you to plug into your factory wiring for the dome light that you will most likely remove to install this , the av and power cables are nice and long , (unlike other TVs I've purchased that the cables dont even make it out of the ceiling) so hooking up wires was a breeze. Unsure of the factory speaker as I used this as a screen run off my after market dvd sound system.

neat display
The screen is big so I don't get complaints from my kids that it is too small. It has about 4 ways to connect thins, 1 HDMI port, 1 USB prt, 1 Micro memory card port, and 2 VGA port. Those are a great number of options that could be taken full advantage of. I currently have a coverter box, a micro memory card, and a HDMI cable to my phone to give my kids opons to watch tv the go. The coverter box isn't the best since sicgnal isn't that great when driving but if your parked and waiting for a bit then having a tv is great option to have. The picture of the diplay is good fo what it is althuogh I wish it was better.

Works well, could be a little better.
Installed this in our 2019 Toyota Sequoia and wasn't too difficult. The hardest part was trying to get the screws lined up with the metal bracket when screwing to the roof. I attached the bracket by cutting back the headliner and mounting to the roof supports with some self tapping screws. Currently feeding video to the screen via composite out on from a Pioneer headunit w/ videos on a flash drive, makes it easier to control the screen with young children. Only downside is can't use carplay will videos are playing but thats a headunit problem. Audio also plays through car spears whether feeding the screen from the headunit or audio out from the screen to the headunit on aux mode. Also the device has 2x HDMI ports, one is hidden inside on the control board and it does work BUT to get to it you have to switch to HDMI then go into settings, scroll over to source, and select HDMI 2. Odd that HDMI 2 doesn't show up in the regular source list. Kind of a pain but nice its there. Also dome light works correctly, comes on when the doors are opened / closed, and can manually be turned on or off with the button on the screen. Viewing angles are pretty bad but fine for the passengers sitting to left or right of the screen. Software itself is pretty buggy but I don't plan on changing the input very often. Overall I am pretty happy with this screen and my kids love it for longer car rides. Hopefully it lasts the test of time. Update: 1 year later and still going strong. Thinking of installing another in my Tundra!

You get what you pay for. Don't expect to be able to use IR Headphones.
I share this review to help others that are struggling with the IR capability of the overhead monitor. I ran a few tests and found out there are 4 IR LEDs transmitting the audio data (1st picture). As others have mentioned, the third row is not able to hear anything when the monitor is mounted to the ceiling. From what I can tell, the 4 IR LEDs point straight down and there is nothing to refract the signal at an angle. I set the overhead monitor as shown picture 2 so the monitor was at 90 degrees from the typical installation so the IR LEDs were pointing towards the trunk of the van. I was able to be outside of the van with my head positioned in the trunk and hear the audio from movie. This leads me to believe that is not a signal strength issue but just a signal direction issue. I'm not an engineer but it seems strange that it was designed to have a signal sent straight down. I was hoping to bend the LEDs towards the 3rd row but there is no space between the IR LEDs and the board to allow them to bend. I have the monitor set up to my Pioneer headunit but there is limitation of being able to use Android Auto when playing videos from the SD card in the headunit. Due to this limitation, I was trying to have my kids use IR headphones with the SD card in the overhead monitor to allow it to be quieter for the adults.
