Yes, the wheel pivots from the front. That pivot is even ajustable in tension. So if you keep the tension strong you can help track straight on on a side slope. Great product. I have a ki mobility rogue wheelchair, will it work with this? it has a flip foot plate

A rogue is a great chair for a freewheel, but the flip up footplate is a problem. Simply contact Living Spinal and they can get you a new angle adjustable footplate and tubing set for $160 and then your freewheel will work perfect with it. Have a great day.

My chair has a flip-up foot plate. Will I still be able to attach the wheel?

No a flip up foot plate will not work, but for about $150 you can very simple switch out the footplate with a normal angle adjustable one from tilite that does work. We can order it for you with your serial number.
