FANMATE 00-955002 Fan/Vent Cover with EZ Clip Hardware, Constant Airflow, Super Tough, Black

Welp, Fantastic Fan has been sold out of their brand fan cover for some time now. After some research, decided to go with this Max Air as it was noted as compatible with our 3 speed Fantastic Fan in our 2021 T@B 320s Boondock camper. I definitely don’t regret this purchase. This worked great, looks and functions perfectly with our Fan. The directions were pretty straightforward and I watched a YouTube video for some extra insight. The install took about an hour. You do have to drill holes, but not in the camper. You drill the holes in the existing Fantastic Fan on the sides. 8 very small holes to put the tabs on the existing fan. Once that’s done, clip it on and you’re done! Easy and looks awesome! This will be so nice to be able to leave the fan open in the rain and not have to worry about my fan getting damaged from wind. Also, less light comes in when the sun comes up in the morning. Recommend.

Easily installed with the quick clips over top of the factory fan on our 2025 Rpod 171. This should allow us to keep our vent fan open regardless of the weather.

Product was as described. Installation was pretty straight forward. I like the sleek design vs the max maxx air 2 and the ability to open the vent further since it's just a little taller than the maxxair2.I have the cheap fan that came with my trailer so I had to opt for the bracket install. I rushed thru it and noticed later that it would have been easier to align the cover if I had followed the directions.My only complaint is that there is no clear information on how the clips face. On the right side they go on snug from front to back once engaged there fit very well against the cover, the left side clips need to be installed from back to front to achieve the same results. Looking at different images and videos people seem to have placed them in either direction and they hold. Maybe it's just me being picky.Unfortunately it didn't come with a bug screen ( sold separately). But I knew that before purchase.Can't wait 2 more weeks to my trailer out to test it. I hope it doesn't fall off during transit lol.***update. I took the vent off to add the screen and while at it, I bent 2 of the clip the other direction installed all of them from front to back and now all 4 clips rest against the vent. Problem solved...

Excellent product and very durable. I’m so happy with this because I’m able to leave my exhaust fan operational. Well it is raining outside. I can even leave my exhaust fan damper door open during transient.

2022 Alpha Wolf 33 BH-L. These guys went on my bathroom vents in about 2 seconds. Live in the Mojave so any help blocking the heat is needed. Will see how long the material holds up to the weather. If you have the brackets on your rig it's an extremely straightforward and speedy install. Fan opens completely with cover on.

Great product

I bought two of these hoping to cover both MaxxAir roof fans on my Ember 26RB. The bathroom is a manual open cap. This vent cover installed stupid easy with no tools needed! Literally about a minute and done. It's secure and works great! Moving to the autoclose cap (with rain sensor) and I found the Vent cover installs fine! But the auto open and close feature on the cap, opens too high for the vent cover. I didn't see a way to adjust, so I had to return one for that reason. I was a little disappointed but the auto open/close system does have a rain sensor. Most important was the ability to open and use the bathroom fan in any weather. That Achievement is unlocked! :) For a bit more peace of mind I purchased the bug screen as well. That snapped in easy enough and seems secure for now. I hope to keep any flying critters from building a "mobile" home on my mobile home!

We bought 2 to install over our MaxxAir fans in our camper. We have the fans with the auto-rain sensor and were always having them close even if the rain wasn't that significant. These covers do keep the actual vent cover from fully opening, but, as the MaxxAir website indicated, that has no impact on the airflow.We bought a small piece of stainless steel window screen and zip-tied it into the vent area to reduce the number of bugs able to get into it. The dark color has also helped reduce the heat that comes into the camper in our bathroom and kitchen.Definitely worth it!
