I actually used these in place of the back "button" closure on a dress. Easier for me to close. They're not strong magnets but they seem to be strong enough to work. Not sure since I just attached them

These sew-in magnets are exactly what I was looking for! They're easy to attach, have a strong hold, and work perfectly for bags, pouches, and other sewing projects. Great quality and would definitely buy them again.

These magnets are very strong together however when sewn onto fabric, it does not work as well. I’ve tried a few different thicknesses and anything that has been sewn to flip inside out is too thick for it to work. They are a great size and easily sewn on but I wish were more powerful.

These are perfection for my bag making purposes. If any review says these are not strong, then they are just not using them correctly. One side is the strong magnetic side, one is not. Also if it's not paired up with its original mate, they will repel each other and not attract. They are great as semi hidden magnets in my bags (all you can see is the stitching holding it). I tried other magnets that are not as strong. You know because you can pull them apart easily just on their own. These I have to wedge a little tool between the pairs to separate them. So then when there's fabric between them also they're still very strong. Only when I had a super thick upholstery fabric was it less strong. And you know I love these because Amazon says I've purchased them 9 times!

These are adequate for light duty--fabric closures, light leather, etc. They're good quality, just not as robust as I'd hoped.

The plastic is difficult to sew through but the idea is so clever and it’s really easy to hide where needed. My husband also wall mounted this in our bedroom drapes so we have superb sun blocking. He used a small screw through the plastic. We could have used glue but these are so small you can’t see them unless you’re looking. But what weirdo is going to come into your room and move your window curtain to judge this magnet being there? Very strong magnet for size. The plastic is maybe too strong but I think it’s great for what I needed. If you hate it, simply cut it off. It’s like a little pouch. It’s not like suspended in acrylic or something. Good value in my opinion. When we need more I’ll literally look through old orders before searching for new ones.

Great for sewing on blackout curtains to help the edges magnetize to each other! Very strong and would definitely buy again
