Best at home gloss!!
This gloss is great. I bought Crystal Quartz for a clear professional finish to my at home hair coloring and I am in love! I’ve never used a gloss before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, or what I was even doing. It was truly as simple as wetting my hair, pouring one bottle into the main bottle, putting it on, and rinsing. I left it in for 15 minutes and the shine is insane.

I really liked how my hair turned out with this and the process to apply was easy, I am letting my hair go gray and it tamed my grays wonderfully. Will buy this again.

Straw hair results
Serious and honest review. Does the opposite. Left my hair hard, stiff and dry. Difficult to manage and ate my hair color. My hair looks like dry straw. Front area brittle and damaged. Had to condition and bond again and again. I was so scared. What’s in this stuff ? Stay away from this product.

No noticeable Shine
I’m super disappointed. I don’t see any shine in my hair whatsoever. I did let the product process for 20 minutes before I rinsed it. I don’t know. A lot of hype and no results.

It's Simply AMAZING!!
This is my first time using a semi permanent hair gloss that required two steps. I tried a couple of drugstore so-called glosses and they literally dried my hair out like straw, turned it an ugly dark mud brown despite what the container showed the color was supposed to be and made it duller than it was to begin with. Not this gloss! OMG! I've been searching for a product to help improve the condition of my hair while my body adjusts to coming off of prednisone which basically ruined all my hair and turned it into dry, brittle, dull straw. I followed the directions exactly and allowed it to sit on my hair for 20 minutes. I then lightly shampooed it and went from there. My hair actually feels like it did before I ever went on Prednisone! Even though I used the clear gloss, it still toned done all the brassiness out of my hair and turned it back to my natural deep, rich auburn. It was like it knew what my hair needed and automatically fixed it! I had hoped for it to make my hair shinier and healthier looking but this was a completely unexpected side benefit! I highly recommend Kristen Ess Signature gloss to ANYONE as long as you choose your correct color (if you decide not to choose the clear). After one use I am completely sold on this product and will continue to use it regularly!
