Update: As the last item added to my treatment routine, I know it’s why I now have luminous, smooth skin I haven’t had since childhood. I’ve dealt with CARP (misdiagnosed as tinea versicolor for years) since adolescence. I rarely get the scaly plaque outbreaks now, but I must regularly physically/chemically exfoliation to keep a dull, fuzzy keratin buildup off my skin. This has killed that keratin buildup and now I’m getting a bright, luminous glow from my exfoliating vs it just keeping my skin from being dull. I also had a constant, low-grade bumpy texture on my face likely from the CARP/keratin buildup that is also GONE. I can’t remember having skin SO smooth. 100% zinc pyrithione is now a permanent part of my skin routine. ________ I use this 2-3x/week with oral meds and exfoliating actives for malassezia folliculitis/fungal acne donated by a dear pre-school aged family member. This is very strong for my skin so I cut it with non-active basic -or- acid-based exfoliating face/body washes depending on my skin needs (~ 40:60 face, 60:40 body) then let it sit on my skin a few minutes before rinsing. It caused burning, stinging, and irritation when I used it straight, with drying and scabbing to sensitive facial areas. It’s still VERY effective for me diluted and works great to keeps flare-ups at bay. It’s a tiny bottle, but since I dilute it, it goes a long way.

I'm really grateful to have found this product and I sincerely hope they don't change the ingredients. I'm extremely intolerant to fatty alcohols, film formers...basically anything that coats skin or hair and leaves any degree of residue is a huge issue for me. It's become so distressing that even just taking a shower feels unsafe. I had found one cleanser I could tolerate and although it left my skin extremely dry, I tolerated bc of the trade off. When I ordered this little zinc cleanser I wasn't expecting much but the ingredients had me hopeful. For the first time in almost ten years the chronic bumps on my legs and bikini area have begun improving. The skin on my body once again feels like...well, skin! I tried using it as a shampoo as well and while it does work to keep the itching and greasiness caused by other products, it doesn't move through the hair very well. However, the lack of film formers and other garbage is so much more valuable to me than a normal shampoo experience that includes trigger ingredients. This product is probably not for everyone but if you are having issues with things like feeling greasy or itchy from every product, seb derm, fungal acne, melassezia or other similar conditions, I would definitely give this a try. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Amazing for fungal acne (malessezia) and dandruff. I use it once a day mixed with another face wash and let it sit on my skin for a few minutes before washing it off. I also mix it into my shampoo to prevent dandruff. Just be mindful that it is strong and can irritate dry patches of skin. I just use it around my dry skin patches and have no problem. It foams up a little, and has a zinc smell, which is fine. I will be purchasing for life bc it is stronger than other zinc products YET doesn’t have any acne triggering ingredients. I was worried about the tea tree oil at first, but it actually helps my regular acne and fungal acne even more.

I have use it every 2 days for the past 2 weeks, i have had a crazy dandruff for the past 3 years, enough to make me stop working out as often because of the itch and hair has been falling like crazy, enough to notice my scalp on top of my head, i use this on my hair with castile soap, i squeeze enough castile soap for my hair, then i add this product on top of it, mix it up with my hands and then immediately massage on my hair, i not longer have dead skin flakes like before, i dont wake up to crazy white flakes on my bed, i noticed my scalp still itches, im hoping this will at least give my scalp a break so it can regenerate and regrow hair, this product is something i would recommend so far as i have tried literally everything else and nothing has worked, i dont wish this to anyone, hope this product helpts you too. UPDATE:11•22•2025::This stuff still rocks, thank Father in heaven for having this product recommended to me, i barely have itch, mostly when i eat bad and only noticeable when i workout because of the heat, but i eat clean most of the time(something that wasn’t getting rid of dandruff back in the day) and using this mixed with castille soup every 2 days now, religiously every single week, and when i dont use this means i dont wash my scalp at all even tho i shower every day, sometimes when i eat bad i use this 2 times in a row and then fix my diet again, this product is beyond, i would definitely stuff my wardrobe with a lifetime supply of this just so i never run out of lol i am never going to go back to not being able to sleep nor workout because of the crazy itchy scalp no no no!!! Update 4/1/2026: Im still using this, still works, i just bought like 3 of them in one single order, same process, i use castile soap(Dr. Jacobs peppermint castile soap, because its thicker unlike the others ((even dr browners) which are watery)) i pour enough to make thick foam on my scalp, and add this zinc therapy product(shake it and dont be greedy) and i turn off the faucet because i spend like a minute or two massaging my scalp, the longer you leave it on, the fresher it feels[more penetrating?], i can eat fruits and eggs, which I couldn’t before because it would just trigger crazy itch on my scalp(specially eggs), and nuts and even some veggies, i was so miserable, im so grateful for this product. The product even through you shake it, it still has the watery consistency and it does not lather enough. You will have to use a lot so it can lather if you have a lot, thick and greasy hair. However after almost using half of the bottle in one wash. It does not irritate the scalp and does work for oily scalp related issues. Aside from that it smells like mosquito spray (spray). But it does not stay on your scalp once dry and leaves a nice smell on your hair. In conclusion. It does the work but is not easy to use.

I suffer from what I call cheese head and I’ve tried a lot of things but it’s the only product that had kept me cheese free for 24 hours.

I’m glad I found this soap. I’m allergic to a lot of ingredients in dandruff shampoos so I mix this with a minimal ingredient regular shampoo. Only complaints are it’s a little drying on its own and I wish the tea tree was not as strong

This is the only product I’ve tried that has consistently worked for dermatitis on my face. Especially in my facial hair. Since the product is liquid it can get to my skin reliably. I’ve previously tried lotions and anti fungals and while they do work it’s only for a limited amount of time. Not the case with this product and that is fantastic.
