Great item. While I feared rancid butter if left out of the refigerator, I also found trying to spread cold, refrigerated butter less than satisfactory. Now, the butter bell ensures that butter stays fresh and delightfully spreadable. It also compliments my kitchen decor, is small enough to sit on the countertop or easily fits into a cupboard if I want to stash it away. I am so pleased with it, I purchased two more for Christmas gift add-ons!

A beautiful and functional ornament for the kitchen. This is a classic and well constructed piece with good aesthetics. It is large enough to hold about one stick of butter. It is used in conjunction with water in the base which help to preserve the butter - so make sure you don’t skip this step. We leave it on our counter and the butter has perfect softness and freshness, and we typically will keep it about one week on the counter without any issues.
