Premier Research Labs Pink Salt - Hawaiian Red Alaea Sea Salt Blend for Food, Cooking, and Eating - Flaky, Unrefined, and Additive-Free, 12 oz

This salt is soooooo flavorful. To me it’s noticeably more tasty than any other salt I’ve ever had. My nutrition coach recommended it a couple of years ago and that is the only kind of salt that I buy now. I do feel like it is way too expensive when it is not on sale.

I have been a consumer of this product for many years. I checked Amazon to see if they had it and of course they did. I usually order it from the company and pay shipping costs. This salt is so good not only because it tastes good but it is good for you. Once you get use to the intense true flavor of real salt that is unadulterated, you cannot tolerate table salt. This has a slight moistness to it but doesn't clump at all. It is the natural moisture of real salt. I recently moved and was getting very low on Pink Salt. I ordered two bottles so I won't run low again. I would err on the side of less and taste test your food before salting as usual. Regular salt requires much more to make food salty enough. With regular salt, I can never get what I have become accustomed to in terms of true saltiness. This has all of the original mineral content left in it. It is not processed so it retains the true color of real salt. Delivery was right on time.

In the morning and at lunchtime when I take my supplements I mix up a little cocktail drink with a 1/2 cup of water, a splash of Nopal fruit juice for flavor, a scoop of Vitality C (vitamin C powder that I have also reviewed), a scoop of D-Ribose powder, some Biosil drops (biotin) and a teaspoon of my Premier Pink Salt. I stir it really well and then drink it up! There is always a little sludge left in the bottom, just add water and finish it off! I am not saying it tastes wonderful BUT it tastes fine and I get some good nutrition and trace minerals in their natural state. Premier Research Labs makes some high quality supplements.

I've been using this salt for several years. It was recommended by a health practitioner for constipation. I put about 1/4 tsp in 8oz of water every morning and drink it and also inhale some in my nose (and then blow my nose) to rinse my sinuses. This type salt does not effect my blood pressure (mine is low to normal). I do it to balance PH and it makes hard water much easier to swallow. I can't say I notice what drinking it does for me but I know I like doing it. Cleaning my sinuses with it helps enormously with my allergies. Keeps all symptoms at bay. If you try drinking or sniffing it be sure to make the solution mild--so that it is like a light saline solution. If it tastes very salty, it would be too strong to sniff and it won't feel that great. I don't use it on food that often--because it is so mild. I prefer sea salt on food.

I use this on my baby and myself. For me, I sprinkle it on my food whenever needed. My baby was suffering from reflux and I came across this salt as a remedy. At first, my newborn son was prescribed Zantac for the reflux, I hesitated to give him it because it didnt feel right giving such a small baby a strong medication like that. And also Zantac can have rebound effects, it lowers the acid in the stomach which is good for the reflux but when you dont have enough acid in your stomach it becomes much harder to digest food/milk. But anyways, i was told to give him a TINY pinch of this salt to him before every feeding. Hes been much more at ease but he only had a mild case of reflux. Not sure if it would work on babies with severe cases. Tastes great too!

I purchased this sea salt as a flushing solution for myself. Unfortunately it didn't quite work for me. After trying it I realized I didn't really need a cleansing anyway so I just started using it as my primary salt for foods and drinks. It really doesn't taste much different to regular table salt, but I know its healthier so I will continue to use it. I have no bad reviews for the product , over all it is something I will remain to use for health reasons so long as I can afford it.

I originally bought this for a diet I had started but just ended up using it for the family. Because it is such a fine ground salt ,almost like a powder, you use less of it it seems. This has lasted my family of 5, TEN months and going. Even though it is kind of expensive I am considering repurchasing this for regular use for everyone because of how long it has lasted and the the fact that it is a healthier choice.

My boyfriend swears by the salt for health. The only reason why I’m giving it four stars because I actually have no idea why it’s better than any generic sea salt. That being said it’s a beautiful fine salt that taste much saltier than regular salt. We only use this raw in drinks with other health items like apple cider vinegar and chlorophyll. If you have the money to pay for this and maybe there’s a chance that it’s better for you then go for it.
